They are saying they caught the guy via a body scan when he was attempting to check in to a Disneyland Paris hotel. When I visited there last year, they didn't have security scans at the hotels. Just like they don't at the USA Disney hotels. Of course, they may have stepped up security as a result of the terrorist attacks in Paris in November, but I somehow doubt that they're scanning every guest at their hotels. I'd like to have an accurate story about what really happened, but that isn't likely given what passes as journalism these days. TCD Quote Link to post Share on other sites

There was already a military presence in the train station there, but it sounds like that was substantially increased, too.
