I have three daughters two in school and my wife and I are disagreeing on when to plan our trip. She wants to take them out of school for a week and go in may. We used to take our granddaughter out of school for trips to the fort and other places when she was in grade school with the blessing of the teachers and principal. This year she was accepted into a 6th grade Junior High STEM program which is real intense and fast moving, so no more school year trips. I would say take them out in May and enjoy the slightly cooler weather and slightly smaller crowds. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
