Coincidentally, beginning this fall Mickey's Backyard Massage Parlor and Casino will begin offering the Naughtily Ever After Fireworks Dessert Party.  Enjoy a buffet dinner at Minnie's Ho Down Smorgas

Can't change it, can't stop it, enjoy it while you can, that's my plan.

I think part of the "value" is in the fact you have a kitchen and can do whatever meals you want in house. Also I think they are more utilized than you think by families who fly in and don't rent a car, especially over peak holidays and Spring break. IIRC the Cabins are about the same as the Family Suites at AOA.

I love the cabins themselves, but don't like the location. They feel too out of the action. I'd like to ditch the whole Reflections Lodge and put some Yurt loops there and a third pool, as a matter of fact.

We were at the four last week, I’m not sure if this is been reported or not, it probably has, but the three or four cast members I spoke to said it’s going to be a 15 story high-rise resort. How the heck are they going to make a 15 story high-rise resort  blend into wilderness Lodge and the Fort?

Maybe they will surround it with camouflaged cell towers.

Love that idea!

Ugh. They made the WL work (not sure how many floors that is) but so far the concept art for this doesn't show anything remotely "wilderness" looking.

Ooh - maybe they could finally boost the wifi so it doesn't screech to a halt at times?

Now that's an idea I can get behind.  Nightly boat rides to dinner!

All the Architectural renderings only show 6 or 7.

Yeah I haven't seen anything so far that looks as big as 15 stories.

Makes me wonder if the CM scuttlebutt is confusing this with the new Coronado Springs building - which IS in the neighborhood of 15 stories.

We were staying at the wilderness Lodge last week and went over to the HDDR for dinner. We walked back towards the old River country to see if you can sneak a peek at it. We were stopped by security guard and he informed us we were no longer allowed to go back there. Long story short he’s the first CM to tell us it was going to be a 15 story building. The photographer outside the hoop dee doo was the second person and two of the boat captains on separate trips also told us the same thing. The next day when we were checking out of WL I was visiting with a front desk manager and I asked him About it. And he also said the rumor is it’s going to be 15 stories tall.

They definetely were not taking about the Building at CS

I hope they are all wrong.

Let's hope. It certainly wouldn't be the first (or 50th) time the CM rumor mill was wrong.

There is no way in Hades that Disney will build a "nature inspired" resort on the shores of Bay Lake that is 15 stories high.  That's almost as tall as the Four Seasons, which despite being set back from Bay Lake by about a mile is quite visible from areas around the lake and Seven Seas Lagoon.  And the Four Seasons is certainly not marketed as nature inspired.  Massive visibility on the lake shore doesn't mesh with the theming Disney seems to be going for with "Reflections - A Disney Lakeside Lodge".  And yet one thing about the new resort is puzzling to me.  The announcement was that it would include 900 rooms.  More than the WL.  And double the number of rooms in the 17 story Four Seasons.  So if this thing will indeed have 900 rooms, I anticipate it will cover a huge amount of real estate....like at least half of the open space between the Lodge and the Fort Settlement.  I don't think they necessarily will build "up", but they certainly are going to have to build "out".

Of course, I've been wrong before, and Disney often does things that surprise me.

Isnt Bay lake towers DVC not on Bay Lake?  Lol.

I believe it is a 15 story tower that has approx 450 rooms.

Wildernness lodge is 7 stories and has approx 700 rooms.   So if they went with a 7 story building like WL it would need a slightly bigger footprint than WL.   And it looks like there’s plenty of room for a 7 story 900+ room resort between WL and the Fort.

Considering that they are currently building a high rise building at CS and CBR and the ever increasing prices at WDW it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if they built a tower between WL & the Fort.
