Campsite glamping at its best. With tiny houses and high end camping pods becoming ever more popular, you may have thought about one for yourself. Weather as a tiny house, garage, shed, play house in your yard or a decent living space on your property in the woods. Our Buildings are second to none and really the only option in a class all their own. Our buildings are built out of hardy solid (no ply or particle board) wood (Nordic Pine and Fir) in tongue and groove and interlocking joint design for a lifetime of service. Walls are 1.5-1.75" thick. Finished in any color or stain and clear of your choice.
Double pain glass windows, electrical and plumbing as needed. Sizes from 7.9feet to 11.5feet wide and 9.9 feet to 18 feet long.
If you cant help imagining Disney's 7 dwarfs or other mythical Disney characters residing in one of these, you are not alone!!!
Call me directly for specifics and add some charm to your back yard or camp site.

No wheels, looks like its a permanent installation.

This is the reply email to the ad   [email protected]

The ad says to call him, but I didn't see a phone #.

These are the only pictures in the ad.

Thanks for the link.

There's something fishy going on here.

That third photo is definitely not taken in Florida- look at the sloping hill across the pond in the photo.  The trees and landscape in the first photo don't look like Florida either.  I see the palm trees in the second photo, but even that one doesn't look like Florida to me.

And the phone number superimposed on the photos is for a School Bus Service/motorcycle shop in Valrico.

It might be canned photos.

In the ad it mentions OZ Pods and a google search pulls up a web page from Australia for caravan rentals.

Exactly.  So, some guy in Valrico who operates a private school bus service/motorcycle shop (seems legit) swiped some photos from Australia, and is trying to get people to send him 12K to buy something he doesn't have?  Is that it?

Maybe he's got the US distribution rights?

But the Australian one seems to be a camper/RV rental site, don't think they have anything to do with these tiny homes.

Maybe he just liked the name?

And if someone is crazy enough to give him $$ without seeing a finished product, they deserve to get ripped off for being stupid.

I'm sure that there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for how this guy from Valrico's photos are posted on a website called hottubdirect.com  based in Lithuania:

camping-pod_australia_2

http://www.hottub-direct.com/product/24m-width-x-30m-long-camping-pod-code-pcp240300/

And, after you figure that out, then I will need help with understanding how the same photo is being used in the slide show posted on this Australian company's website:

Oh Internet... how amusing you are sometimes. ;)

For the record though, I'd still love to see what the real version of these looks like in person.  Totally looks like what hobbits would camp in.  LOL

I'm blocked from the Lithuanian site.

The Australian site has some interesting items, but I don't see the round houses.

I'm sure that the Bus/Motorcycle shop has acquired the rights to distribute these in FL.... maybe.....

The Australian site has some good photos of the interiors.  They are pretty cool.

Oh come on.  It would cost a fortune to ship one of those to the US.

Now, the bus/motorcycle guy might be building knock-offs.  That wouldn't be hard for me to believe.

I'm thinking more along the line that he got the rights to the plans and name/concept.

He says they are Nordic Pine or Fir.

Australia says pinewood or thermowood, and it looks like they might sell kits also.

OK, you made me hunt down the round ones.

Here you go- they're from an outfit in the UK called Royal Tubs- I told you this photo wasn't from Florida:

That bus/motorcycle shop guy must have spent a fortune on the distribution rights for all of these companies.

Or he just designed his own knock-offs.

Wait, he's a legitimate businessman, he wouldn't do that....

I'm thinking the guy might be doing knock offs but I'd have to see his facility and talk with real customers before I would think about buying something from him. While looking at the link for the round hut I saw this. It looks like a good idea for a backyard project if you could get a hold of the grill and hood.

That looks like a torture chamber, at least it would be here in Florida.  Maybe it would be nice somewhere where there's a lot of snow or its very cold?

I was thinking something like a gazebo, lanai  or similar building. I doubt it would get much use in the summer but would be nice for gatherings the rest of the year.
