My mother had her surgery on the 7th of May, the day after we got home from the Fort. Everything went well and she is recovering slowly but surely. She did have to have a follow-up procedure this past Friday and will have to have some more treatments, but the Drs are all happy with her progress and the progress of all of her treatments.

Thank you for posting! I spent a weekend in Boston right before my Knee replacement, so I totally understand going to the Fort! Glad your Mom is recovering. I Can't wait to read more trip reports from you.

Slowly reading through the Trip Reports. 

This was fun to read with the mind pictures playing in my head.  Good job.

It was a great idea to go to FW before the operation.  I hope your Mom is continuing to get well.
