Food allergy updates (at least its new to me)

Recommended Posts

I don’t remember if we ate at buffets on our trip in January of 2017, but this was new to me.

When we were seated at our table at Chef Mickey’s they gave us this allergen guide. IMG_6056.JPGIMG_6058.JPG653a3abfc9507078fb90fad3e9dac6ae.jpg

This was mixed in with all the papers they put on your table for the server too. I probably wasn’t supposed to see it IMG_5925.thumb.JPG.28984ff152767010847b3d523557e490.JPG

I would guess "no" due to cross contamination concern.  I bet Beckers requested an SDM item.

So, what's an SDM item?

You’re probably right. I think her DS has severe food allergies.   And she wouldn’t risk it.

Shellfish allergies run in my family Including me. A little cross-contamination really wouldn’t hurt me but my younger brother carries an EpiPen because of his severe food allergies.

His food came from the back. Wait until you see the size of the plate they gave him.

We ate at the boardwalk today and they have a regular printed menu.

That plate looks good.  I'm a bit of a Tatertoteterian.

 Have you ever tried Totchos?

One of the marinas at our lake have them on the menu. DD and I get them every time we go there.

Yes.  You can put anything on Tots and it'll taste good.  Well, anything edible.  Pulled pork.  Chili.  Spaghetti sauce and mozzarella.  Kung Pao sauce.  Chocolate tots with whipped cream....sure!

Frozen Tot, Apply one small ring (pickled or fresh) jalepeno, wrap with half strip of bacon, toothpick it, deep fry until it floats (usually about 2-3 minutes).

No, you spent $31 to get pics of her with Mickey, Minnie and the gang.  The strawberries were a bonus.
