What is that building in the background of the LED photos?

That is one of their deluxe cabins. We peeked inside. Downstairs, it has a kitchen, sofa, bedroom with what looks like a queen bed. It has a full bath downstairs. Then upstairs, there is a loft bedroom. It also has a small screened porch. and a decent sized deck where the guests had erected a canopy.

I didn't know they had cabins like that at KOA's. It looks nice.

We didn't have any construction. For some reason though, we didn't take 31. We took 65 to the Beltline, then took the backroads there.

They now have 3 levels of CG's.

Journey, Holiday and Resort. So amenities have to match the classification.

While it was nice, there was some maintenance that needed to be done. This is "barely" a Holiday. They have 3 of those cabins. They rent kayaks, bikes, and canoes. They have a boat ramp, and swimming area. However, the grass needs cutting, the "wood" frames around the sites have seen better days, and the stair rails on our "two-level" campsite were almost dangerous. The owners took it over from TVA, added the cabins and the rentals, and bought a KOA franchise. It's only been 3 years though, so maybe they are still working on it. The folks working there are really nice though. I'm not really complaining though. We had a nice time, and being lakeside is awesome.
