It's good to see Richie.... how is he doing?  (Not that it isn't good to see the others).

Richie is doing well. He's on dialysis now, which puts a damper on their schedule, but both he and Lorna are wondering why they didn't start it awhile ago. He's lost weight, the problems in his legs have diminished, and he is all around healthier. They've have to really schedule their lives and find places wherever they travel, but so far so good.

Despite the constraining aspects of dialysis, it sounds like his quality of life has actually improved.  That's good.

Yes, that's what he told me.  Said he feels better than he's felt in years.  It was good to see them both.

On Monday, our last stop before heading home. A Spikey Dole Whip!!

45020343_1637313329901639_15986701542317

We also enjoyed three trips into Epcot for Food and Wine, visited the Studios for Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror, and Muppets, and also saw Nemo at Animal Kingdom and enjoyed the Satu'li Canteen in Pandora. The "Bowls" there are fabulous!

I didn't buy our tickets in time to get Flight of Passage or Slinky Dog Dash FPs, and we don't wait in line for anything.

Our biggest disappointment of the trip was Pecos Bills. I don't like the "Mexican" style food they have there at all.

We also had a meal at ABC Commissary. They had a shrimp stir fry dish that was delicious!!

This was our first trip in ages where we didn't have annual passes. I was so worried that I would be compelled to spend all day in a park when we did use a day, but you know what. We didn't change our touring style at all. We visited a few FP+ attractions, did some wandering and had a meal. We also only had 2 sit down meals the entire trip. We instead tried to focus on the better counter service places.

Also, thanks to Missy, we had an awesome breakfast most mornings 🙂

Well, that should be all. I put the Golf Cart Parade in a separate post. I'm going to mine through Rick's phone to see if there is anything notable, and may add those.

Until next time!!!

Great pictures Carol...  Even though it can and is often a zoo down there, I really miss going during Halloween.

I am with you on the Pecos Bill thing... Before they changed the food over to the "Mexican" style stuff, I thought they had the best theme park burger around. Now, not so much.

Loved your decorations and your (camping) set up, always blows me away.

Yes, I totally agree, your set up is awesome!!

Thanks so much for sharing your photos!  I am amazed at all the Halloween decorations at the fort. A whole lot of creativity and work went into those.

I am sorry to hear about pecos bills. We always enjoyed the hamburger there.

I'm not particularly a Halloween person, but the creativity in many of those pictures is amazing. And now I want to see it in person. Someday!

Yes, I always tell folks, we're amateurs when it comes to decorating (also just don't want to put in all that time and energy) Our setup takes enough time as it is.

It was fun, but fairly calm this year, at least in our loop. I ordered the nachos, but without the queso, hoping I could get some cheddar cheese on their, no dice, so my nachos were really bland.

They used to have a chicken wrap that was fabulous. What's funny is we ate there because we didn't want to cross the park again. We were actually planning on Columbia Harbor House. We should have gone over there.
