A couple questions came up. 1) Is there still an opening show at the Magic Kingdom and 2) if there are AM extra magic hours, does this change the opening show at all? Oh Oh I can answer part of the question!! Yes there is an opening show, BUT, it's no longer at the train station above the entrance. It was moved to the castle area supposedly to allow for more people to view it, but at the same time a lot of the shops on Main Street mysteriously started opening early.....
