By DFB Sarah Just yesterday we speculated that Bongos, the Cuban-inspired Disney Springs restaurant owned by iconic singer Gloria Estefan, would close next week, and today we have confirmation that, indeed, the restaurant will close on August 18th. Bongos Cuban Cafe Express The Orlando Sentinel cites Emily Clark of Lettuce Entertain You, who confirms that Bongos’ replacement will be Beatrix— which you can learn more about here! This will be Beatrix’s first location outside of Illinois. Its other locations offer breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled for the menu!
