Wow - I guess I haven't updated this thread in a while!

Fort Fiends is lucky enough to now have 2 site sponsors that offer camper rentals (including Curt, above). You can find them on our Sponsor page...

http://www.fortfiends.net/_/misc/support-our-site-sponsors-r259

We've also got a Camper Rental page on the Info side of the site too...

Happy Camping!

Just reading some of the posts and came onto this one - Just wanted to send an update - Meacham's RV - www.TravelTrailerRent.com now includes every thing a customer would need for their camping trip to the Fort as well as Golf Cart Rentals. Check out our Fort Wilderness Package page.

http://www.traveltrailerrent.com/FT_WILDERNESS_PACKAGE.html

We now have an ad on this site as well as offer any one that is a Fort Fiends member 10% off of their rental - Hope this will help bring more members to the group as well as help out members that may be in need of a travel trailer rental.

We just experienced our 1st Christmas at The Fort and it won't be our last. To say it was AMAZING would be an understatement. We rented one of Donnie's 5th Wheels and a Golf Cart from Kenny. No offense to anyone reading this, but you won't find nicer people than these 2 men and better services. We have an old Apache pop up that we kept in Ohio (we winter in Florida) so we're not new to camping, but we were new to all the space, roominess and luxury of an indoor bathroom during a couple cold nights during the week of Christmas. We had everything we needed and then some.. and after climbing over a dinette to sleep in our cramped pop up camper bed, sleeping in a queen bed, with memory foam and within 2 feet of a bathroom at 4am while camping?.......OMG! Heaven!! We arrived to camp chairs outside and ready to sit in, along with Kenny's very cool golf cart. Everything was amazing! A couple of times we bumped into Donnie as he was camping near by at the Fort and his first questions was "Everything ok?" I can't say enough good things about him. What was funny was, when meeting some other Fort Fiends for the first time this week, when they asked where I was staying and I told them what site we were in, they'd say "Oh, you have Donnie's camper.." It's like a community within a community at The Fort! We've decided this will be our new Christmas tradition.

We rented an RV from www.greenbergrvflorida.com in February 2013- Matt was amazing! He delivered to Ft. Wilderness and even brought another RV when we decided to extend our stay (ours was rented out already).  Just booked thru him again for this August.  Give them a try!
