C. about 30 miles from our home. While in Petsmart yesterday there was an adoption fair going on. As most dog lovers would do, I was drawn to all the beautiful dogs there looking for "forever homes". In talking with the lady there I learned this is a private rescue that was started by RV'ers, and she was a full-time RV'er in the past. They have volunteers needed and also weekend RV'ers for helping out.The place is only about 30 miles from the beautiful Crystal Coast of NC (Emerald Isle) and could be a great place to visit, plus schedule a volunteer work weekend while in the area. We are for sure going to volunteer to help in someway since it is a keep alive shelter and has a mobile (RV) spay and neuter facility.Just check out their website and see if you don't get a good feeling about what they are doing.
