GA Dawg/Shiny-
I have 2 nights at Topsail after our stay at the Fort (arrive next Friday!). How is the tram to the beach and back? Any recommendations "to do" at Topsail other than beach? Bike the trail to beach or tram it? Kids are 11,7,5 we will all have bikes.
Thanks!
I agree with what's been said. If having the cart means no Topsail, I'd cancel it. I'm there now. It's pretty close to heaven.

Awesome! We arrive next Friday, requested 100 loop!

How long do the love bugs last? We'll be arriving at the Fort on June 7th. I've got the front of the trailer all waxed up. Are there places near the fort to wash it?
-
Super sad. We get there June 8, it's a good ride:(

It's a Ford Expedition EL. Tows very well!
I was thinking the same thing! Very sharp! What's your TV?

Thanks- We upgraded our camper this summer, I needed the reminder to update our pic too!
I see you have a pop-up. If you are staying in an Tent or Pop-Up Campsite there is no sewage just water. If your staing in an Full Hook-Up or Premium Campsites you have as said before the standard 3" pipe that you find in every campground. Hope This helps

Hi all. First time Fort visit coming up in June. Can someone please tell me what kind of sewer type connections are used in the Fort? Just want to be sure I have the right gear so we can start relaxing right away! Thanks!

Thanks for the info! I'll bring the big blue waste water tank.

Another question- is parking at the parks free with a fort parking pass?
-
Hi fiends- do the partial sites in loops 1500 or 2000 include drains for grey water? If so are they set up to handle a hose or do I need to bring my grey water tank?
Thanks

Hi TCD-
Thanks! We have a Coleman Bayside. It is great. I grew up camping in a tiny Viking PUP, this is like PUPing a Cadillac.
Cool you have a friend with a cart you can use. We will probably rent one for a few days from the highly recommended Kenny for looping over a weekend. I have to say I would love one of those Fort Railroad spikes you went through all that trouble finding. Those are one of those great souvenirs you can't find in the gift shop but mean even more. Thanks for the great trip reports!
There are still more posts for me to respond to before we move along.
Yes!
That is what I am talking about!

Welcome.
Thanks for posting.
I love the photos in your avatar and signature.
I can tell that you have a Coleman/Fleetwood pop-up there.
What model is it?
I have a Utah CP.
About the golf cart- it isn't mine. I have a friend who lets me borrow a cart from time to time.
It's good to be TCD.
Again, welcome to FF.net.
Please feel free to post all you like here and on other threads as well.

We'll be there 11/25-12/5 in the partial sites (hopefully 1500 loop) area. Thanks for the warm welcome and sharing all the great trip reports! We are so excited to have a long break. The past trips we have take have been exhausting since we tried to pack in 4 or 5 days at parks in 5 days. The Fort sounds like a better way to do Disney at a reasonable pace.
I'll get over to the newbie section for the hazing... :rofl3:

Hi TCD-
Love your trip reports. Speaking of what the fort, I noticed you have a golf cart in your campsite picture along with your Expedition and camper. How in the world did you get your cart there?
We'll be at the Fort in November for the first time! Airfare is crazy so it makes sense to drive to the Fort and back to Minneapolis for us 5.
