    Hey long time no see to everyone that's still around!

    I'm bringing my elderly Grandmother to the Fort. She is the one that got me going when i was a kid (she hasn't been in almost 20 years). This will likely be her last trip, and would love to be able to drive her around on a cart to see the decorations and stuff after we eat at Trails End, she is unable to walk around. I was thinking an hour or 2 max would be all we would need and was thinking between like 5pm -9pm (before or after dinner). Would anyone be able to rent or loan me a cart for those couple of hours? We are staying off property so renting a Fort cart wont work as we will only be there the one day.

    Ummmmm WTFort.... Seriously. Please collect the DEAD bat on your own with provided specimen bags????? Yeah lol Ill get right on that.

     

    Parc Soleil is a Hilton Grand Vacations Club Resort. We bought into the club on our Honeymoon in Hawaii. We were looking at timeshares for some time, originally wanting Disney but being turned away due to the 50 year return policy. We want to be able to give it to Family when we kick the bucket. And as a plus we can stay at Disney resorts. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge Villas in February.

     

    It is nice. I miss my camping, but in this busy time on our life we have less and less time for setup and packing etc. So this is our vacationing at the moment. We love it right now!

     

    I'll admit that I do come on here more than I post but I frequently run out of time reading your TR. It can take a full day of free time to do so, Then I have life to get back to. You should have a email list :) to notify !!

    Ok so i know that the questions were like 9 pages or so ago. but ill give a little update to TheLug's where abouts.

     

    Started school back because work aid that they wanted me to.. They are paying and want me to advance yadda yadda yadda. Crap i hate college think it is a scam. O well I am doing it anyway. Yay me!

     

    We are getting married on September 7th. 

     

    Started a new position (Promotion) at work.

     

    Bought a new house.

     

    and everything else in life I have been so busy its nuts. No time to camp, websurf, ride my bike, shoot my guns. Just work, sleep, study, eat, and help with other things. 

     

    But i still lurk from time to time at work. Haven't done much traveling in my new position, so few fort trips in the future. We even let our passes expire for the first time in almost 6 years!

     

    I miss yall. We hope to be there a couple times over the summer, and Halloween.

     

    Honey moon is in Hawaii! I am really excited about that!

    If you watch the Youtube video you posted from the Orlando vacation thing at about 18:50 Gamorrean (The Pig) slips, and falls. It appears that it was not planned as he hits the lady standing next to him. Did you see it?

    Living in Florida my entire life hard short rain storms are something that i am used to. But WOW this was nuts! We were trapped in the glass cutting booth in Germany. It was coming down something fierce.

    This was last Sunday the 6th. The storm was about 7:30.

    I saw a bunch of other debris but nothing major. I told a Japan employee and he freaked out " O MY GOODNESS!! O MY!! O MY!!! I must call someone as he runs away!! It was awesome.

    Whatever!

    I just finished. The flock of Geese i followed home from Delaware were really slow!

    Anyway.

    I am a rule breaker. End of discussion. I normally accidentally always go on the roads with my car that say private. I really don't pay attention well.

    Anyway I know something that wasn't answered. I know where the 4th Fire station is.

    I didn't know you were traveling so much.

    Did you get a new job?

    I hope that after all of your hard work you can take a nice long break at the Fort.

    Ah, Delaware.

    I have driven through it many times.

    I'm not sure if I ever stopped there, though.

    Nope same job! I go up there about twice a year! I traveled 59 days this year 6 of those being weekends! Fort trip should be coming up.

    What are you doing up here in our great but little state of Delaware? If you need any info on things up here let me know we have lived here for 20 years and I have worked here for 35 years. Which part of the state are you in, we are in New Castle county at the top of the state.

    I was in Wilmington. I go about twice a year! New Castle is just up the street! I will let you know next time i'm in the Tax Free State!

    So since i haven't checked in yet and it is now 99% over I have a few comments. Some late but comments none the less.

    1. If you let your annual Passes expire you don't get that almost $100 discount. So how is this a good idea??

    2. I saw the Double Decker bus on 12/17 when we were there for the day. we stayed at MK until about 12:30. It was open until 1am. It was in-route to what i would assume was in front of the castle like you described. I was tempted to chase it down because i assumed they were giving rides but we were already half way down Main Street so I decided best to just walk on. Now i know that there were free rides and i am now angry!!! :(

    3. I have a couple pictures of 2 beautiful Dole Whip creations i made. I am sure this will cause a stir! If i say so myself they are quite impressive!!

    I made the first one here for my lovely lady!! Notice how it is alteast 150% taller than the cup and ends with a flip? Also note Sponge Bob Photo Bombing us!
