Tried to post this earlier, but it doesn't seem to be here in the thread, only been here a couple of days and have not seen any yellow flies or mosquitoes, but I have plenty of bites. Something is biteing the heck out of us when sitting out at night, and bug spray seems to only help minimally, they are either too small or too fast, cause I keep slapping and can not come up with a body.

I'm in on the pre-trip report - love the coffee cups - a bit of Disney is a great way to start everyday, especially when your reading pre-trip reports from the coziness of your MH after a big breakfast at Trails End, and a bike ride to Meadows for a Happy Camper mug - currently filled with concoctions other than coffee! :-)

Keep checking back. Keep checking online for different combinations of dates even before and after your current and wanted dates, and then keep checking once you check in.

If all that fails, then yes, leaving the MH in overflow or in the Contemporary parking lot is not a problem.

Transfer your reservation to one of the Travel Agents who are members on this board and see what they can do. You'll be surprised what their "Magic wands" can do.

That's what Kelly suggested below, but I don't know the screen name for Judy - who appears to be holding a Premium site for the dates I need - Wouldn't that be perfect?

Why don't you try to overbook by a week or two the dates you need and then cancel the days you don't need. That may work.

I emailed Judy on the advice of some fiends in chat, but we already had reservations, so I need to plan to use her next time. That said, I know she had (as of last night) a premium site until April 5th because she had someone cancel. I can't remember her screen name, but someone will jump in and say it I'm sure.

Thanks so much, that's exactly what I need - it would be perfect, now if anyone can remember Judy's screen name so I can message her, our first trip in our new RV could be spent completely at the Fort!

Hi all:

We are heading to the Fort on 26-March through 1-April on vacation, then I have a conference at the Contemporary through April 5th. I keep calling and trying to add days to our reservation at the Fort so I can cancel the Contemporary, but no luck as of yet.

I know I can keep calling, but is there a way either before we get there, or upon arrival we can be put on a waitlist if a site opens up? I don't even mind changing sites.

If we can't get in, what is the opinion on leaving the MH in the overflow, or in the parking lot at the Contemporary, and why?

Any input would be appreciated.
