Has anyone been able to get a AAA discount for the Fort in 2013? I keep calling and they say they aren't out yet. But I've seen on other forums that people are getting discounts for other resorts. Yesterday they said the only AAA discounts they have are for some non-Disney hotels? Does that make sense? I'm trying to get a discount for the first part of February.

That's perfect. I would see no reason to go to the cabin pool, since the main pool is much closer. I'll have to see if I can use that Google Earth function. Is there a link to get to that "mouse navigation"?

Thanks for the information. I was confused on my pools. So loop 1700 would be good for the main pool. ( I don't mind a little walk). One more question. Is there any rules about taking a small cooler to the pool (with perhaps a few cans of adult beverages in it:?)

This will be my first trip to the fort, and I requested loop 1700. On the map it doesn't look too far from the small pool? (I think that's what it is called) I know we will want to be using the pool frequently, and we aren't renting a golf cart. So I'd like to be some what close to a pool. Also what is the difference between the two pools?

Any other suggestions on loops that would be better for the pool(s). I'm looking at full hook ups (no pets)

I just booked 4 days in February 2013, and they told me the AAA discounts aren't out yet. But to try back later. I believe during the Value Season it should be 20%. That would be a great discount to have. Any hints on how to get it?

I thought I read that you can receive AAA discount during Value days at the Fort?

Do I just request that when I make my reservation? I couldn't find anything on the website about discounts
