Has anyone stayed at the KOA in St. Augustine. We are attending a conference neer here and most of the other parks are full. I am looking more for a place to sleep than anything else. But I still would like to be in a decent park too. Thanks for any input!

We always take our electric griddle with us so we can cook out side. It's good for bacon eggs pancakes hamburgers grill cheese and many other things all cooked on one thing and out side so the mess is not in the camper

There was s mister system on the market a few years back that went around the house. It's not on the market anymore because it had serious effects on humans as well as the bugs

The art of concealment is concealment. He was wrong for loosing control of his weapon. I carry almost all the time but there are places where I do not a Disney park being one of them. There is enough undercover security there that if I drew a weapon in a situation one of them would probably dispatch me and the problem

The fence and bar wire is the first step to keep us out of golden oaksThe fences have barb wire on the top and seem to be in place to prevent anyone from fishing off the bridge or adjoining embankments. The fence also surrounds a pump that is pumping water from the canal into Bay Lake. I was there on May 2-7 and had heavy rains for the first two days. I noticed the 1900 and 1700 loops were completely dry. The 1900 loop normally has standing water in such weather. The problem with the pump is that it is heard 24 hours a day on the 100, 200 and 300 loops. You can guess were I camped. 329

I saw the new gates at Epcot. They take up almost a third of the entrance and we only saw a handful of people go threw them as we waited for forty five minutes to get in at the ticket turnstiles

We decided to just walk up an see if we could get a table at the R&C for a late lunch. The wate was 15-20 minutes not to bad so we got our buzzer and walked around the UK . We were seated in about 20 minutes and our server was there right away to get our drink order. I had a Black and Tan and my wife had s coke. We started out with a appatiser plate of cheeses from the UK. Not Avery large serving but the three cheeses a garlic/chive a Irish cheddar and a bleu of some sort were all very good. Each cheese was served with an accompanying side candied nuts with the bleu, dill pickles for the g&c, and onions with the cheddar. For our meal I ordered the Plowmans Lunch and my wife the Fish and Chips. The fish was haddock and was very good it was sutch a large pece that my wife could not finish it so I helped out .the chips aka steak fries were what you would expect of fries. My plate on the other hand left a lot to be desired. The Plowmans Dinner was taken off the menu several years ago and was brought back some time ago. It is a cold plate served with ham a grilled chicken breast mixed greens and cheeses. The ham was just your average ham steak from any supper market, the chicken was grilled but in seasoned just grilled, the mixed greens were a handfull of watercress and other greenery with no dressing, and the cheese was not the wonderful artisan cheeses we had to start with but was a white and yellow domestic mild cheddar . I was rather disappointed in my meal because I had ordered this in the past and had a better experience with it. It was not bad I just won't order it again unless it is brought back to what it was befor more variety and better quality. All and all our experience was good our server was wonderful and the food was pretty good. We will eat here again I am sure I just want get the plowman again.

We ate lunch there last Friday. I had the quiche and French Onion soup my son had the same. We both found it good but not above average. The soup was very good. My DW had the steak sandwich said it was ok but was tough and lacked taste. My DD had the braised pork she only ate half and was full so I helped her finish it was petty darn good. The mashed potatos and gravy were jam up. As Gwen said the service was wonderful and the dining rooms are really beautiful and well themed.
It's all about Stall #2 now isn't it?
