  1. We have been in site 108 twice and love that spot - it's easy to back into and is angled so your facing the woods rather than a side of a neighbors RV. On our second trip we arrived a day earlier than original reservation and they put us over near 125 -that site was difficult to back into as the sites are packed in tight on that side of the loop. We were in a 27' travel trailer - perhaps a 5th wheel would have an easier time manuvering into that spot.

  2. We're still big Willow Tree fans. If you don't "have" to be on the beach at Myrtle Beach, its about as nice as they come down there. Besides my sig pic, here's another plus one with our former Sabre TT.

Based on this posting, a favorable posting elsewhere, and the fact that we live 90 miles from Willow Tree RV Resort, we tried this campground this past weekend and was very pleasantly impressed with this campground. The grounds were immaculate, staff very friendly and helpful, the bath house were private restrooms with plenty of room (and clean), and the amenities were great. WiFi is weak but is primarily due to lack of cable networking to the area that they are in which limits their bandwidth. It gets our vote. We are returning Labor day weekend as we were able to get a spot from a cancelation while we were there.

  3. Hope this is a quick fix, as we will be arriving June 2nd and had requested100 loop via TA and at online registration. 300 is not an acceptable alternate as we have pet allergies in our family. How is the 200 loop? Most appear to be small and crowded from the online pictures. Are there any recommendations for premium loops that are close to the marina (walking distance) and are NOT pet loops? Any chance FW would assign a premium/Full Hookup site and include a golf cart to compensate for a much longer distance fr the marina (wife has limited walking distance - guess we may have to consider full time use of an ECV instead of one at park as needed.

  4. I can see both sides. In 2007 I had the park hopper option and did not use it, but the crowds were low then in early May. This year we're going in early June and may opt to have it again. I may just add the option once I get there - as I anticipate the need for it to be based on the crowds generated by Star Wars Weekend and other groups scheduled at the beginning of our trip. If the crowds aren't as bad as anticipated, I might be able to save some money, but at least with the PH option, I can add it if needed.
