  1. Great pics of new fantasyland! I am trying not to look too closely so I can be surprised next year...

We were at DTD the 3rd and it poured! So I am sure you took umbrellas evrywhere. We also take a small umbrella to the parks for "portable shade" for DD.

    Thanks for all the pics!

  2. We stayed in the 2100 loop and found it to be extremely convenient to most everything.  Our cabin was on the inside, near the front, so our walk over to the internal bus stop was like 2 minutes.  You could also cut over to the 1100 loop where they camp like for-real campers.

Although I think it is the closest one to the main pool, it is a good walk.  Not terrible, just more than I like to do on vacation. :wave1:

Golf carts are nice to have, but not necessary.  Do you bike?  Bringing bikes is a nice alternative to renting a cart or depending on the internal buses to get around and/or explore.

  3. Thanks for all the great pics!  I am with CP - always go with the boat.

You have some really great views from your building!  How cool!

And, I have to ask, did you do CoP because CP needed a break?  Or you needed a nap?

I totally forgot - what were the dates of your trip?

  4. Cute pics!!!  I think I really have to try O'Hana next time we go.  It really does look yummy.  Maybe lunch one day...  I like how your mom sensed your need for a drink.

Big thumbs-up for you on letting Z bail with grace.  It's so hard when they do that, but you handled it so well!

I wonder if you are doing the same program a friend of mine did - she had to go to Florida every so often for things like that.

  5. Thanks for the update!  I know they are a lot of work.  Princess pictures are cute!  Z definitely enjoys the ladies...

That is so cool that Z enjoyed the kids club, and you got some pics!!  I am planning to drop DD at one next year when we stay at WL, so it is good to know he had fun!  I think we often forget that as much as we need a break, they need one too.  :waycool:

DD hasn't ridden Soarin yet - we are going to give it a try next summer.  How are they strapped in that makes so many afraid they will fall out?  I'll probably have my "mom arm" out too!  :))

  6. Fun stuff!  Poor Z - didn't want to get wet!

I am on team "who cares just get wet".  But I usually dress to get wet.  Board (quickly drying) shorts, sports bra, etc.  I am a fan of my Teva Kirra's too because I really do LOATHE wearing wet tennis shoes.

I am also anti-poncho, though.  The last thing I want to do when I'm hot is wrap myself in plastic.  I know, I'm the oddball here.

Great pics!  And yes, your blurry IS cute!  Don't you hate it when those super-cute ones are fuzzy?

Can't wait to hear what the surprise for the grandmas is!!!

  7. Cute pictures!  Looks like you guys are having a great time!

    I   Dr. Jones, too.

I have seen those odd cup/sandwich thingies as well.  The only one I thought I might try is the meatball one in the cone that was like a big corn chip I think.  And what's up with that teeny tiny fish?!

The Monsters University display looks cool!  Like!

How did CP do with all the walking around?  Did she get tired more quickly than usual?  I know you guys probably missed getting to ride certain things.  We went to Boston when I was a good 6 months pregnant and I remember I was worried about it before we left, but it was really fine.  I did have to take more breaks than usual, though.  And that was the first time in my pregnancy that I REALLY missed being able to have a drink.

  8. Thanks for the update!  Z is so cute!!  And I love how each of you "had a friend" on the trip.

Those downpours are crazy.  We were at DTD on the 3rd and had to run for cover.  We are usually a "keep going" group too, but we had to hide in Ragland Road for a while.

Good job on the Kona ADR (and the fruity drink)!  I have not eaten there but would love to try it!  I bet the kids LOVED the ice cream sundae! :yay:

  9. Yay!  An update!

The pool are at the Poly looks awesome.  We are planning to do the WL next summer - have you stayed there before?

Love the pic of the kid leash.  My DD wore one often when she was 2ish.  Especially places like WDW, airports, etc. where I needed to concentrate on something other than where she was dashing off to.  I always say that was before she spoke English :rofl2:

Good job giving that kid a good kick.  Must not have been real bright.  "Hey, I'm gonna be a real punk and then ask this guy to hit me"

I love that street party/parade thingy.  We never watch the whole thing, but I love how we can just be walking from one place to another and it is a good reason to stop and take a break for a minute.

Good luck with your new job!!  That is always exciting/scary.

  10. Great TR so far!!!  Congrats on the baby news!  Funny, I had a similar shirt to CP when I was pregnant.  But it said "Pregnant - not fat"   I thought it was hilarious.  Tell CP she looks awesome!

I have always wanted to stay at the Poly as well - thanks for the pics!

The new Fantasyland looks awesome!  I kinda flew through those pics because I don't want to see too much before we go next summer.  Part of my new "not overplanning" thing that I have going...

Have you thought of any baby names yet?
