Wow… I would have loved to see the swimming deer. I always get excited to see deer anyway--seeing them doing something unusual would be doubly cool.

The one time I had to dunk my indoor cat in the bathtub (after he escaped the house and crawled through a mud puddle) he didn't shake. He clawed a rip in my shirt, then laid on the floor and glared at me. So no, you couldn't say the deer shook like cats.

I love your trip reports--you really give a sense of what it feels like to be at the Fort.

You also give a sense of what it's like to be in the parks for the holidays. And you can count me out of that--I would have a panic attack in those kinds of crowds!

The only time I've been to one of the water parks was to Typhoon Lagoon when I was 13. I got separated from my family in the lazy river area and couldn't find them for about ten minutes. Maybe at 13 I should have been more level headed, but I remember being absolutely terrified.

I guess it left a bad taste in my mouth, because as an adult, I've never had any desire to go to the water parks!
