I've been away for a while, but we are getting ready to leave for a 4 night stay at the Fort. I look forward to doing a trip report, and look forward to our first kid free stay at Disney since my son was born.
My brother and his wife are going with us and are staying in our TT. We are all super excited!
-
Good but strange trip report so far.
-
Now that's a short trip report!
-
Looks great. Have a good trip!
-
Looking great! You guys are knocking this renovation out!

Thank you for posting this TR, glad you had fun, you guys have the coolest Disney shirts, I want the Dole Whip one, that is awesome! Last Bests of the report, O'HANA, The Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki room , bib overalls, Pluto punching your Brothers GF, and your DS's face when he met Mickey at O'HANAs! Winner!!
My wife gets the credit for the shirts. We did have a great trip, Thanks!
What a great trip you all had. I am so glad most of the lines were short. It is so much easier on the little ones when they don't have to wait long.
Thank you for sharing.
Short lines is better for everyone! Thanks for reading along.
Thanks for the taking us along with you.
Love the different expressions on your son's face. He's a cutie.
Thanks for reading. I'm a little partial, but I think he's a cutie too.
The lack of crowds are awesome!!
Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
No crowds = a great time. Thanks!
Great report! Enjoyed the read :)
Thanks, I have enjoyed reading them on here, so I thought I would take a crack at it.

I didn't catch this when I first saw it on my phone, but did everyone where bib overalls?!? lol that's a great idea and very funny!
Great trip report, it looks like ya'll had a great time!
WBI
I noticed the overalls too.
What's the deal with those, SL? Are y'all a family of farmers?
TCD
We are not a family of farmers. Everyone had them and thought it would be a good idea to wear them to the Hoopty doo. My dad actually wears them every day except to church though.
-
This picture made me chuckle....cause it looks like you have mouse ears.
Lol! I never noticed that, but it does!
-
Wow, I'm jealous of the light crowds.
The shirt is cute!
My son wants to ride ToT, and I'm the scared one.... I'm going to have to force myself in April.
Thanks!
He rode between my wife and my mom. I was pretty proud of him for not backing down. And proud of my wife for letting him ride.

Ok, Friday was our last full day and we spent it in Magic Kingdom.
MK closed at 7 for the Night of Joy I think it was.
That was ok, because It started getting crowded around 5 or 6.
We had breakfast first at O'hana.
My brother's GF called Pluto Goofy
At MK we just kind of bounced around and hit some of the rides that we didn't do the first time.
The river cruise
Splash Mountain
The mine Train
This one had the longest wait, and there were no fastpasses available this day. The posted wait was 40 minutes, but my son had been asking to ride it again for 2 days.
How about a Mickey Ice Cream?
The Barnstormer
The Speedway
And Space Ranger Spin
That is pretty much it for pictures from the parks.
After that we shopped a few gift shops and headed back to start packing up.
The next morning we packed in and got ready to head out.
Here we are getting ready to pull out.
We had a great time.
We will most likely be at the Fort again next time.
Thanks to Fort Fiends for helping us make this a great trip!

Your three year old is braver than me!
He is braver than most of us.
Great photos!
Your son's birthday outfit is adorable. Your wife is very talented. I noticed that y'all have quite a few unique t-shirts in the photos- did she make those too? Next year, you and your son should wear matching bow tie t-shirts.
You really hit a sweet spot as far as crowds. Getting to ride attractions with no wait really helps with the fun.
TCD
She enjoys making the different things that she makes. She didn't make the shirts that we were wearing, but she is the one that found them and ordered them. We did get a lot of compliments on them during the trip.
The crowds were great. We have been Labor Day week before and they were the same as they were this trip.
You are really moving through this trip!
I'm glad you liked Tiki room....I actually enjoy it myself. Or at least I don't think it's as bad as some say. It's up there with Country Bears to me. Which is to say, I like it because Anna likes it.
Wonder why the ToT seat was out of service? Loose bolt? :dropjaw:
I have got to keep moving before I get sidetracked and forget to finish.
I like the tiki room and Country Bears ok. We were prompted to do the Tiki room by some friends at our church that have a daughter the same age as my son and she loves the Tiki room.
I don't know what happened to that seat, but it didn't bother me. My brother's fiance rode it about 4 times and she got more scared each time. That sign was the last straw.

I thought Magic Kingdom would be busier than the other parks were, but it wasn't really.
Here we are on the boat ride over.
We made it in plenty of time for Rope Drop.
I was kind of Sporadic with my picture taking, so bear with me.
We went towards Frontierland when we got in.
We were about the only ones who went that way.
We rode Splash Mountain
We met everyone a little before lunch to ride Haunted Mansion
My wife pointed out Repunzel's tower.
I don't remember ever noticing it before.
We rode It's a small world since we were there
My wife made my son's Birthday outfit. She sells those kinds of things online.
He picked out the one he wanted made.
I tried to talk them both out of it.
I lost.
We did the enchanted Tiki Room.
I had never done it before.
It was pretty neat.
We had fastpass+ for the Mine Train.
I think it was my son's favorite ride.
It was neat, but short.
That is all I have for Wednesday. We rode everything we wanted and rarely had more than a 10-15 minute wait.
Thursday was Animal Kingdom.
We were there for rope drop and we headed straight to the Safari ride.
Then we rode Everest
We rode it twice since there was no wait.
Then we rode my son's favorite ride of the day twice, Kali River Rapids.
I was real slack at Animal Kingdom, because that's all the pictures I got.
That was Thursday. Friday was our last day.
We were going to Magic Kingdom again.
I'll pick up there.
-
Tuesday we went to DHS.
We made it there for rope drop, and we went straight to Midway Mania.
Here are a few pictures from near there.
We decided to do the fastpass+ for The Indiana Jones Stunt show.
We haven't done it in a while and some of our group had never seen it.
We also rode Star Tours, which my son really likes.
My then 3 year old, now 4 year old son also rode Tower of Terror.
My wife tried really hard to talk him out of it, but he was tall enough and his mind could not be changed.
He did not enjoy it.
He never cried, but he's not going back anytime soon.
It happens to be my favorite ride and I rode it several times, since standby was 5 minutes most of the day.
I did see something weird on one of the cars I rode in.
They had taken 1 seat out of service.
That freaked my brother's fiance out.
She didn't ride anymore.
That is all of the pictures I got from DHS.
I was slack that day.
Wednesday is Magic Kingdom.

Wow, what a great TR and what a great Looper Clan! I'm a little late but I'm in, plenty of bests in this report so far, Planes cake, looping, Kenny's cart, family, sunrise on the lake, your Nemo shirt, and the Coral Reef, my DS loves that place!
Thanks! We don't get to go too often, so we try to get it all in 1 trip!
Love the picture of your son with Mickey. Good idea to use a toy to help break the ice!
More pood forn!!!!
He came started doing that with his toys on his own.
I wish I took more pictures, but that would have delayed me filling my belly.
It was very good.

Duke's (dog) paws underneath the camper's bedroom door. He hates it when we close the door...now on to search for another avatar
I have a dog named Duke also. He loves to go camping.
-
The person behind you on Spaceship Earth...he does know he supposed to wear Mouse ears, not Moose ears?
He gets confused easily. I will try to explain it to him.
-
Welcome, Susan.
I give up- what is your avatar photo a picture of? I'm stumped.
TCD
I can't see it really good in the small photo, but it looks like a cat's paws under the bathroom door of a camper.
-
We were using fastpass+ but there really wasn't anything with much of a wait.
We rode Soarin standby and we probably waited 15 minutes and that was our longest wait.
-
Thanks everyone for all of the compliments.
Even the ones for my wife that has me marrying out of my league.
It did get her to read my trip report.
I left off on Sunday. Monday we were heading to Epcot.
I went to get some breakfast from Trails End and I had a few minutes for it to open so I walked around and checked out the area while no one was there.
Afterwards we took the cart up to the bus stop.
It was about 8 and there was no one else there.
We got to Epcot for rope drop.
We went ahead and rode Spaceship Earth first.
Then it was my son's first time on Test Track.
Here is the car we made:
It was one of the most capable for the day.
Then our group split up and we went to meet the mouse and friends.
Last year my son wouldn't get too close to the characters. This year, he would use his toys as the icebreaker. They always played along really well.
We had lunch at Coral Reef.
We all really enjoyed our food.
Waiting outside.
The view from our seat.
Here is a picture of my wife's dessert:
I didn't get many food pictures this trip.
When the food came, I immediately started stuffing my face.
That seems like all of the pictures I got from Epcot.
The next update will be DHS.
-
So much win in that video.
-
This will be awesome. I love mods!
-
