Hi!
Its been a while, but cookie season (Girl Scout) is over and I am able to get back on planning our Trip to DW. We live in SoCal, (San Diego) and I have been looking at options. We can buy the Super Duper Seasons pass which will include BOTH parks (Florida and California) for about $1099.00 per person plus taxes. It includes free parking (not a big deal when we are at Disney world as we would be onsite regardless).
My question is - what type of discount as a Seasons Pass holder do you get at Disney Fort Wilderness? I know its 20% discount on food - but I was unsure of the camping.
I am trying to balance if its worth the price.
Thanks!

I'm confused.
Am I to understand that we have a Canadian Californian asking questions about the Fort?
That has to be a first. Is there a prize for that?
Looking forward to my prize pack.. LOL

I am leaning more to the dining plan - I really don't want to spend my vacation cooking and cleaning! I worked out the dining we wanted, and just for the three off us, to do the Character Meals we want its going to be over $800! Has anyone done the regualr dining pkg? Thoughts?

I think we are moving away from the Cruise, I really don't want to spread the budget too thin!
And yes, service dogs only - so we would have to board our dog. ;-)

LOL Thanks for having me, I feel like are bonding all ready!

I am fixing the title from FRIENDS to FrIENDS.
I thought it necessary. Plus I get to say, NA NA NA NA NA to the fairies because they didn't catch it all morning!
Welcome to our insanity!

Doggie will not do well alone in RV and I don't want to be rushing back. Day overnight or mix of both. It depends! LOL

Hi everyone,
We are a Canadain Family living in SoCal - Mom, Dad and DD9. We enjoy San Diego and WDL very much.. but my DD is getting older, so I feel the need to make the trip to Mecca so to speak! LOL. We have a dog, called Whisky Pete, who is sweet as any rescue dog can be.. but he is small and can get him self worked into a small frenzy when we leave him alone to long when we are travelling. (Hotels etc).
Info about us which may be helpful:
*24 foot moter home with no towed car
*3 weeks total for travel from San Diego and back
*August 10 - 30 2016 are the travel dates we are looking at
*Planning to use the doggie kenny for days when we are in the park -
Questions:
*Kennel Logistics? Unsure if its best to pay for overnights, how far in advance does it book it? Othe options?
*Debating renting a car for the whole time we are in Orlando
*Food Shopping? I know they have onsite, but as always its $$$. How far is the local Publics etc?
*Thinking about basic food plan, you can mix and match correct? So one day we use 3 quick service meals, and another we use one? We are total foodies, and do not mind paying for good meals - but I think the upgraded meal plan would be too much food for even us! We might ge further ahead if we go lower, and then spash out a few times.
*Universal Studios? How far is the drive? Or is it better to stay at a different location?
*Transportation to parks - just Bus? Water? How long?
*Other Hotels? How long? We want to hit a few places for dinner, and shows! *You can do that without a park ticket correct?
*August in Orlando - close to water sites, or to many bugs?
*Loops - Because we are paying for dog kenneling for days we are in the park, (And I am cheep LOL) I want the lowest priced lot I can get, but in a good location. We will have bikes. (Can you lock them up outside of the pool etc?) Any tips? We would rather walk further to be on a site with more "space" around it.. ie not stacked up then in a central location.
*We looked at golf cart rentals, and its $$$ for us (me) to rent every day, but I can see us renting one, ONE day, just too "loop" and have fun.
*Finally - we MIGHT at a short cruise (Disney/CCL/RCCL at the start or end of our trip - where on earth can we leave our RV?
Thank you so much everyone!

Seasons Pass holder Question

Cool we are looking at August 2016. So I would buy the passes, in September of this year - to ensure they were valid the whole year.
