I love this section. It is really cool that we get to see a real menu from the restaurant!

I'm famous!! Actually, I thought considering that it was Disney...the prices were not as bad as I was expecting.

We stayed in one of the cabins in January 2011 during Marathon weekend. We loved it! It was so nice having a kitchen, even though we only had snacks and drinks in it! My Mama was able to hang out at the cabin while we went to the park, she can't do that at a hotel because she is unable to go eat and find her way back without us.
It was so much more relaxing than the regular resorts. I so enjoyed sitting on the deck with a drink and my feet up after a busy day in the parks. The living room area with a couch and the chairs also helps one to relax on vacation, you're not having to sit on a bed all the time. Two seperate sleeping areas also helps to make one's vacation less stressful!
The best thing about the cabins is that they are at the FORT!! There is so much to do there or it's just a great place to sit on the porch at Crockett's and relax! You can watch the fireworks from the beach, bike around the Fort, see Chip & Dale at the Sing-along and watch a movie.
I highly recommend the Cabins if you are not able to camp!

That's a good point about the Premium sites. We had booked a full hookup when we were renting a 5th Wheel from MakeCampingEasy.com When we went in our new 5er we tried a full hook-up site, but I had a terrible time getting it in and then the hook-ups were where we couldn't use our slide and trees were in the way of the awning. They sent us to a Premium site and it was SO MUCH EASIER to maneuver our RV in to the site. The wider area at the front makes a tremendous difference. The longer pavement also gives you more flexibility in placement.

Thanks for posting this info about the camp sites at Fort Wilderness. This is very helpful info about the pet loops too!

One of the things we look forward to is sitting at the beach watching the fireworks over the water while listening to Wishes that is played on the beach. It's so nice because you can relax in a chair with something to drink and just enjoy the magic.
We also enjoy watching the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach.
