Either Thursday or Friday, not sure exactly, I had a Fiend encounter!
I would build up the suspense, but I guess that's out of the question now.
I think I was walking the dogs or something, and I saw a FrIENDLY looking lady checking me out.
Okay, maybe not checking me out, but she was definitely eying me.
I thought about running, but I kind of had a feeling who it was.
Yes, it was Annie!
As in Alex and Wyatt's mommy!
She was just a few sites down from us.
I was surprised that she found me, because we were going incognito on this trip...no sign.
Yet she broke my cover. I think the reds gave it away.
darn.
Either that or Annie is one crazy stalker.
Either way it was great meeting her and I wish that she had chased me down earlier in the trip!
-
But, but, but.... what about me?
Crap! I even had made a note of that to remember to include it! I guess since I cut out most of the talking I just flew right through it! So sorry!
-
God I hope you chose the two of them in their boots on the fence for your Christmas Card. That was one great photo.
Great report! Which picture did you end up using for your Christmas cards?
That was so long ago...I'm thinking that we used several on one card. Sadly, I don't think the boots on the fence was one of them!
That could be Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman. He drives a Bentley just like that. Their farm is just down the road a bit from us, and we've seen them at Waffle House in that car. Plus, don't all country singers have Prevosts? Sure seems like it.
That's definitely who it was, because I thought for sure I heard an Aussie accent singing love songs to someone coming from the coach.
In and done.
Nice. Short and sweet.
Bring on the food and wine
Bringing it...except you mean Flower & Garden. Either way there will be food and drinks (except not one of those for this trip...)
Your girls look like there best friends. As far as the Bentley I have had him for a neighbor before. If I remember right he is one of Judy's customers.
Sometimes they are best friends. Sometimes.
Oh, you just ruined the Keith/Nicole fantasy.
Okay, Keith isn't actually in that fantasy...
Awesome report!!!!! (Bob will love this one, not too many words :rofl2: )
Thanks!

Copied from the Atwood website manual.
PRESSURE-TEMPERATURE RELIEF VALVE
Weeping or dripping of a pressure-temperature relief valve while the water heater is running DOES NOT mean it is defective. This is normal expansion of water as it is heated in the closed water system of a recreation vehicle. The Atwood water heater tank is designed with an internal air gap at the top of the tank to reduce the possibility of weeping and dripping. In time, the expanding water will absorb this air. To replace the air follow these steps:
Step 1: Turn off water heater
Step 2: Turn off incoming water supply
Step 3: Open the closest hot water faucet in the coach
Step 4: Pull handle of pressure-temperature relief valve straight out and allow water to flow until it stops.
Step 5:Allow pressure-temperature relief valve to snap shut, turn on water supply and close faucet. -
Mine leaked once and I just had to release the pressure or something from it. I basically just had to open it, then let it close on its own or something.
Can you tell I don't really remember?
Either way, I did whatever I did to it and it stopped leaking after that. I just googled it and found what to do with it.
Maybe check that before you go replacing the whole thing.

They'll fit you somewhere, no doubt.

Below is from Mouse's mouth.
"Festival of the Lion King will return as the same show our Guests know and love, but in the new Harambe Theatre located in the Africa section of the park."
What he said
-
that last post was in reference to you seeing gators.
Kind of random
-
I taught my border collie to play dead.
Except it goes like this:
me- "Belle, would you rather be a gator, or dead?"
Belle- plays dead
The end.

Are you sure they can't meet Z? Kids who are UGA fans and grow up going to the Fort....
I really want to go back to 'Ohana for Easter. They need to get their crap together. No lettuce... More meat!
You have a point. Go Dawgs and go Fort!

Thanksgiving night:
Let’s get this TR going for the 5 of you who are actually paying attention.
It’s okay though, because I’m not really paying attention either.
I have my sights set on May, so let’s hurry up and get there...
Osborne Lights:
For some reason they spelled “Merry Christmas” backwards.
Dummies.
Red #2 is on a streak of 3 Osborne lights in a row where she won’t pose for a pic.
This year's take:
I suppose going after Thanksgiving dinner at about 8:00 isn’t helping things for a 4 year old, right?
But she can sure pose on a bus, right?
Next day:
The girls rode TT for the first time:
We then had several photo sessions to get some possibilities for Christmas cards.
Here are the highlights;
Wait a second...
those pics look like they were taken from the Polynesian.
What is team CKCK doing there on a random Friday night?
I know that team CKCK is all about some food.
So...
‘OHANA.
Yes, this is happening.
That kind of came out of nowhere, right?
Check out what I took a pic of before:
Anyone know what that is?
At the time it was the castmember cafeteria in the Poly.
Now it’s the temporary home of Captain Cooks.
Bam.
Moving on to some amazing food...
Before the pics, let me say this was our first time, and it rocked my face.
Totally my jam.
I forgot to take a lot of pics because I was too busy eating.
But it was good.
And there were no lettuce wraps.
And there was still chicken.
Although I really didn’t eat much of the chicken.
Weird.
No, I did not eat vegetables and noodles.
I did try the noodles, and for noodles they were pretty good. But I wasn’t here for no stinkin’ noodles.
Unfortunately there are no pics of any other meat.
There was no time for pics.
Only eating.
By the time we got to dessert I was so full I really didn’t care.
But I ate it anyway.
Then it was time for some coconut roll thing for the kids.
Red #2 was all about some coconut rolling.
She was about the first in line.
Red #1 was not so sure about it.
When they said they would get a necklace (aka Hawaiian Lei) she caved and went up.
But she was at the back.
And didn’t know what to do.
She got about half way around the restaurant trying to roll the stupid coconut with the stupid broom and came back crying.
So for the record, Red #1 does not like coconut rolling.
Red #2, however, was all about it.
And that’s it.
Except for this pic I took the next morning:
That’s a crazy hot Bentley parked in front of a nice Prevost that showed up across from us while we were at ‘Ohana.
That car is not something you see every day, let alone at the Fort.
TR over.
Bam.
Now we move on to...
crap, not summer.
I have a bonus trip that happened in April during Flower & Garden.
It was a different kind of trip.
No reds, but lots of kids.
I’ll start that one soon...

Nice report.
Thanks!
Deep fried turkey. I've always known you were smart.
I might show Z the picture of Ariel and the reds. He'll probably think they're her daughters. Good thing he doesn't know where you live.
Duh.
You keep your Z away from my Reds!
Great pictures and just the cutest little redheads I have ever seen!!!!!!! Love the little ones smile.
Thanks! She's learning how to work the camera for sure!
Holy smokes, this is a fast and furious trip report!
I love all the photos of the reds!
Is your father-in-law from Georgia? Mrs. TCD's father's family is from Georgia, and I went to a family reunion there once where I was the only adult male without overalls. Very awkward.
Bring on the rest. Make it rain (photos) up in here.
TCD
My F-in-law is actually from Illinois, then Florida, then Georgia.
So no, not technically.
I don't rock the overalls.
I wonder if Z will make you take him on a road trip to meet Ariel's daughters?
Awesome photos. I miss my reds.
NO.
thanks!
I'm in. Wow, you're posting fast! Love seeing pics of your beautiful family.
How I roll!
thanks!
Count me in!
Counted.
Didn't get in on page 1, bit I'm here on page 2.
So many adorable pictures of the Reds! Love it!
Thanks!
I'm in on 2.. And the Reds have returned !! BTW The turkey looks fantastic....
The turkey rocked!

Our site backed up to the comfort station.
Other than hearing the comfort station a/c coming on every now and then, it was awesome.
It was like having a bathroom in our backyard, except better.
-
We just stayed in 1200.
It's our new fave.
We are homebodies.
It was pretty quiet, which we like.
And the sites were really secluded.
Also a plus for homebodies like us.
I don't like people, so it was good.
From what I hear, you do not need a license to fish at the Fort, because it's catch and release, but I'm not the fishing expert around here.
-
Says the man riding the Peoplemover.
What he said.
-
Don't say I didn't warn you that this TR would be fast and furious.
I think this is Thanksgiving morning:
Brother in-law made it for Thanksgiving.
I’m glad my wife doesn’t get her fashion sense from her father.
Not sure what he was going for here.
He is not a farmer.
Nor does he own a tractor.
This is a HOT pic:
Now you know where Red #2 gets her posing from.
I call this pic, “get the frickin’ foil tray thing so I can put this frickin’ turkey down.”
Post food photo session:
4 generations of girls:
End post.
Next is Osborne lights. Team CKCK Thanksgiving night tradition.
-
I'm in
Great. It's going fast.
Since you posted again, I feel compelled to comment again, thereby using up another coveted page 1 spot.
It's not my fault. You posted again.
In any case, I noticed the MCB (magic cookie bar) on your tray before you even pointed it out. I saw it and immediately thought I would comment on it, and impress everyone with my attention to detail. But you spoiled my plan. Anyways, I love MCB's.
I'm making it rain pics right now.
And I'm about to post again.
So if you feel compelled to post again, I won't say anything.
And I'm still impressed by your attention to detail.
You get a magic cookie bar.

The Navy ship is a research vessel. It is called the Sea Fighter.
Ironic that a research vessel, that does not fight, is called the Sea Fighter.
I guess Sea Researcher didn't have the same ring.
-
Moving on...
If you like HTT then you are in the right place.
Mrs. CKCK is all about some HTT.
That’s Hoity Toity Tea at the Garden View Tea Room at the Grand Floridian for those of you who are new to a CKCK TR.
The wife made me go with her once on our 10 year anniversary trip.
I indulged her.
Once.
Now she finds other saps to go with her.
This time it was the Reds (first time for Red #2) and her mom and grandma.
This was a 4 generation shindig.
Check out the pinky:
So while all of this nonsense was going in, the father-in-law and I headed to the lodge for some lunch:
And yes, that is a magic cookie bar on my tray for dessert.
Winning.
So much better than HTT.
The next morning was AK ropedrop.
I have no idea why we were there at 6:24am.
I guess we were all about beating the crowd for 8:00 ropedrop.
I don’t really like safari pictures.
Yet I take a lot of them.
Weird.
Hey look, an ostrich sitting with the fake ostrich eggs.
At least I have always assumed they are fake.
Either that or those ostriches are always laying eggs, because they have been there every time I have ever ridden the safari.
I’m pretty sure shortly after that it started raining.
I mean pouring.
They cut the safari short.
Booooo.
Bus photo session:
This was a good move:
End.
Thanksgiving day is next.
-
Love it!!!!
Thanks!
Can't wait to see the rest!
Don't blink. We're running through this TR in record time.
You may not want to write it, but in one post you have given us:
Beer
Campfire
Reds
Ms Damn White
Pizza
Keep it coming. Well, except for the Ms White. You can stop with those.
That's how I roll.
No more Snow.

CKCK 8.0-Thanksgiving 2013
Okay, so here’s the thing:
I don’t really want to do this TR.
I want to do our most recent trip, which was May 19.
But it will drive me crazy to skip trips.
So here’s what’s going to happen:
Pictures.
The end.
Maybe some captions.
But no stories.
There will be lots of stories in the summer TR. Gotta get there first.
I honestly don’t remember much about this trip, so it’s kind of like I’ll be reading this TR along with you for the first time.
I’m going to bombard you with pictures.
You won’t know what happened to you.
Saturday Nov 23 through Saturday Nov 30
Red #2
Remember when Red #2 wouldn’t meet any characters?
She’s all about real life people now...still not any costumed characters.
I’m with her. I don’t like them either.
Hey look, that horse photo bombed this pic of wife:
Wife claims that Fairytale Hall will be the inspiration for the Reds’ bedrooms in our next house.
Sounds like work to me.
Cracks me up:
Really, Snow?
That’s the best face you can give?
More and more I’m siding with Dave.
Snow White definitely SMB.
Oh, and check out Red #2’s belly in that last pic.
She’ll love that one when she’s older.
Santa came about a month early so Red #2 could have her big girl bike.
You might remember this pic from the summer:
She was ticked.
So Santa decided she needed a big girl bike for Thanksgiving at the Fort:
Looks like her helmet is too small.
Santa ended up bringing her a new one in December.
Lunch at Via Napoli:
The four of us destroyed that pizza in about 10 minutes.
No joke.
For some reason Red #2 was down with meeting Sorcerer Mickey:
End of post.
The next one will start with a girl trip to HTT and a guy trip to Roaring Fork.
-
-
This TR sure is making me want to go to Topsail Hill.
The flooding roads and crappy beach sure are inviting!

Yay, depressing pictures are my favorite
