We were there last week. We used it once at MK.
It would be helpful if they could have the Tables in Wonderland card linked for the discount. That would have been helpful at AK.
It is easy to use and we will have to remember to use it in the future.

Now I understand. Thanks Jason!
I want to also say thanks for all your help. Everyone is excited this trip.

Just now, BradyBzLyn...Mo said:
Interesting! I don't think I've ever seen that happen before. Was it particularly busy that day?
I would say normal crowds for F&W. A little light at the start of the day and getting busier as the day goes.
We were at Hawaii about 11am so I can understand they were a little behind. We hit Ireland about an hour later. Germany was about 2:30.

We were at F&W Saturday. It was really hot. We finally had enough about 3pm and headed home. We will head back when it is a little cooler.
Hubby was excited to try the Spam Hash and loved it. We did have a wait for it but received a free slider for the wait.
A couple of things we noted. Some booths seemed to be having a hard time keeping food in stock. We had to go back through the line in Ireland because the first time we were told no Cheese Stout Dip. In Germany we ordered the Apple Strudel and they were out of the vanilla sauce.

We missed you by a few days. We checked in to the cabins on Friday the 29th.
It was a bittersweet visit. It was the first overnight stay since I lost my Dad but we had the grandkids with us. it was real fun to be with the little ones. i did miss the CM discounts though!
A couple of things... My husband said that channel numbers on the large tv in the living room was slightly different than the tv in the bedroom. The pic you posted looks like the channel lineup from the bedroom tv.
This story I had a good laugh at...waiting for the boat, I overheard a "helper" say that all the cabins are being taken out and there will only be campsites. I didn't have the heart to ask him why would Disney do that when they just updated all the cabins.

Can't add much to the were to stay and times, other than the end of May of this year it was rainy and chilly. We always went in September, Labor Day weekend. Our son graduated from the Air Force Academy, so Parents weekend (Labor Day) and graduation are usually the times we went. We stayed in Denver and Colorado Springs.
Remember sunscreen! Sunburns are easy to get out there. This is from experience. It is so nice out and you don't realize how much sun you have gotten till you are back at the hotel looking in the mirror.
Hope you have a fun time!

I checked with my kids and CJ is the only one that has driven the southern route. They went Florida up to Dallas and then to Colorado so not much help there.
Hope you have a great trip!
-
I will ask my sons today. Both have made road trips west from Florida.

Great report!
Can't wait to read more.

Great trip report. We have debated on going but will wait until the grandson visits.
However, young son #2, young son #1 with his family and inlaws are going to Legoland California. I am interested in hearing how they like it.
-
Nice report!
We went a few years ago with some friends and had a great time.
In the summer it fills up fast and they do limit the number of people in the park.
So be there early!
-
Loving the report.
I am hoping that several years down the road that young son CJ will get stationed in England.
First stop though, will be the great state of Oklahoma and pilot graduation. Woo Hoo!!
We are looking forward to traveling.

Sadly we won't make it over for the 24 hour event this year.
DH and I fly out to Colorado tomorrow for a graduation on Thursday.
I hope everyone has a fun time!

Great TR!
I am behind on reading everything here as life and work has gotten in the way.
Some day I am hoping for Thanksgiving or Christmas at the Fort.
We were in Illinois for Thanksgiving and we will be in Denver for Christmas.
Hopefully I can catch up things during my Christmas break.

Yep, I knew it was vegetarian offering at the Scotland kiosk and wondered how it would taste. As I said, it tasted really good and so did the companion vegies.
Whitney, do you know why it is called a haggis? Is that a Scottish style of a hash and is made in various fashions?
I always thought the haggis is made with the innards of sheep plus other things, maybe grains? I asked at the cash register and was told it is full of grains.
I actually googled the veggie haggis before we went. I found basically 1 recipe for it.
Totally non traditional! Which is ok because I don't think I could eat the real stuff.
-
Over at Epcot today. Tried the haggis from Scotland. It tasted nothing like haggis. No liver or other innards flavoring the pattie. BUT it was good, so were the neeps and tatties. The turnips are coarsely mashed and have a sweet flavor, the tatties were very smoothly mashed. Served hot.
Next tried the trout from Canada, that was good too. Walked by the sorry log men show. DH tried the dessert trio and from Canada the steak and mushrooms. I got a sample of the 'shrooms, good!
The haggis in Scotland is vegetarian, so no meat. We tried it a couple of weeks ago and really liked it.

So your daughter is a few years younger than my oldest. As far as I know, Sailor Moon is no longer a thing. At least not in my world.
Clemson? Wolfpack? Who? Not when the SEC is playing.
I didn't know CM's were blacked out on Saturday.
So, what day do I need to show up to see the drunk Vikings?
TCD
Maybe Friday night? We had a couple of paper tickets for a couple friends because my dad could not get anybody in the park. CM's can get in on Saturday, just no friends using their main gate.
-
We went to Food and Wine last Saturday and we noticed the crowd levels also.
Busy but not horrible.
I do know that CM's are blacked out on Saturday's during F&W. My guess is that since CM's could not get friends in the park, no drunk vikings!

Great pictures!

I would like to add my welcome to the list. I don't post very often as life has gotten in the way. This is the only forum I belong to and I enjoy every minute I get to read all the updates.

I'm in and late.
We stayed at the cabins over Labor Day weekend and the Fort was packed! Yet they still had a few empty sites.
Can't wait to read the rest of of your adventures.

Finally catching up with trip reports and enjoying your trip so far!

We are staying off property this weekend. We will be in and out of the parks the whole weekend.
