  1. Not sure if this is posted already or if it's even close to the original but someone sent it to me so I thought I would share.

    DOLE WHIP

2 cans (20 oz. each) DOLE crushed pineapple

    ... 2 tbsp. lemon juice

    2 tbsp. lime juice

    1/3 cup sugar

1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

    How to make it

Drain pineapple: reserve 2 tbsp. juice.

    Set aside.

Place pineapple, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar and reserved pineapple juice in blender.

    Cover and blend until smooth.

Pour into two 1-quart freezer zipped bags.

    Store bags flat in freezer.

Freeze 1 1/2 hours or until slushy.

Stir pineapple slush gently into whipped cream until slightly blended in large bowl. Return to freezer until completely frozen, about 1 hour and serve.

  2. The check in person has let us pick our site from the book several times. All we had to do was tell them we were familiar with the site they wanted to give us and it wouldn't work and they got the book out. We were still in the same loop but we're able to choose from several other sites that were available for our stay.

This is where the FF app can come in handy before you drive back there.

  3. I agree with everyone above golf carts aren't a necessity but they are fun to drive around the campground. Also it is much nicer to have the cart waiting at the marina or the bus stop when returning from the parks. This way you can head straight back to the camper with the kids and not have to wait for another bus.

We did bikes on our first trip with the kids and it wasn't bad and we still take one bike but we love our cart.

  4. How would you transport a cart? Your signature pic looks like you have a non-toyhauler travel trailer and a short bed truck. I know some short carts can fit in a 6.5' bed with the tailgate removed, but even then the weight of an electric cart is far in excess of what most trucks can haul in their bed, nevermind the hitch weight of the trailer. I'm asking because I'm in a similar situation.

Good point and good to see you again ^-^
