I was told that information by the Buena Vista Construction Company that was there doing the work. They said that lightning hit the camper. They did not or would not divulge if anyone was hurt or died in the incident.

We were in 1813 since Thursday and I can attest that there was someone camping there when we got there. There was a pretty good storm two of the nights that we were there. We saw them building the structure and setting the green fence up. We heard that lightning hit the camper and it was being closed off for insurance purposes.

We are here too. Thought it was quite strange.

We usually stay in 845, 847 for the past few years. They both have ample shade and room. When you book, ask them for an outside site in the back of the 800 loop. The loops I mentioned are very easy to get in and out of with a 34' 5er and an f450 dually.
