  1. I have to say Thanks to Jordan, for serving, and was excited that ya'll choose us to celebrate with ya'll, us redneck short people have to stick together, I had a good time, but I thought I was gonna die when Judy, said that about the C-A-K-E, and the comments that followed, Sorry we didn't get to stay for cake, I really didn't feel good this whole trip. but Stacy and I had a great time with all of you. I even meet some new fiends this time. Genia and Tony, we had a good time with ya'll too! I still have to check on the other thing for you Stefa, and I promise I will.

  2. Thanks for stopping by Carol, I was like wait, your not suppose to be here, lol you like to go like I use to, Hopefully I can get back to my spontainious ( oops spelling error) trips again. The Picture of the camper looks great, we let out the back porch, and everyone was checking it out. I love it so Much. This was the first trip to the fort since we got it. However the site was long enough, but not wide enough, and we didn't have a hard time getting out of the loop, we just took a left and went out, we were afraid to go around the loop. Thanks to all of the fiends that came up to see everyone. Lorna and Ritchie, Jen and Chris, TJ and Missy, Jennifer and Dan! we had a ball this time.

  3. Hey Ron, Long time no see! Hope ya'll can make it to the fort for Halloween, or sometime soon. We have all missed you, we just got back from the fort and we were saying how long it's been since we have heard from you, Glad you are doing well, tell the kids and the wife we said hello.

  4. Hey Guys, The voltage will be there sometime June 30th until July 15th, Hope to see everyone.

Kelly, I was looking foward to hanging out with ya! Hope everything is going to be ok, I'll have to send up some prayers for ya!

Fiends, that have sent Brittany messages and commented on both of our facebook for surgery THANK YOU! It has given her high hopes and she said why did all of them post? I told her that's what friends do! She's not use to that! She couldn't even wait to ask the doctor today if it was ok to come to Disney, she ask the nurse, and then she ask the doctor.

She is so excited about coming, but I'm not so sure that she is ready to deal with the heat, so we may only be out at night. I took her to Cracker Barrel today for the first big meal, and she had chicken and dumplins, baby carrots and mashed taters, and apples. She said they taters didn't taste right, so she didn't eat them, the carrots were ok, but the chickhen and dumplins got stuck, and she felt like there was glass in her throat when swallowing, she loves the apples and they didn't hurt her. She told me she couldn't handle the heat, and I'm sure she can't right now, she will be kinda weak but will push herself.

She is so excited, so I couldn't say no to her after her ordeal so this will be her last trip before heading to college!

Anyways love ya'll and will see you soon!

  5. well guys, I will be putting mine up again this year, and wheter you like it or not, I don't care, I got a little excited this year, they had Three wedding proposal's in my Mickey Living Room! we have a ball putting it up every year, however it's very tiring, We have done it for several years now! Hope ya'll stop by and enjoy! we should be in the 100 Loop.

  6. ok, I got a lot of rickin candy, so if you forgot some we have enough, I got 120 plates 10 1/2 inches, 200 dixie cups ( orange and Black for the occassion), 200 forks, and planty of napkins, and bug spray, now to get britt's costume out of the camper at the shop, I still have to load the golf cart, and I think I might be able to leave. I thought since everyone else was bringing food, I'd bring the plates and cups. I don't like to cook. I will be leaving tonight and staying in/around Gainsville, and checkin in tomorrow. I'm so excited for this trip. Does anyone need anything, that I can bring?

  7. Ok, I've got to chime in, yes I was told we would be able to decorate but we need to tone it down now because we started a tradtion. When Donna Howard, was there she was the first one to decorate, and we loved it. We started decorating on a bgger scale in 2007, I had 23 inflatables, the year before, and I left some at home, but in 2007 I went for themeing my spot. I bring everything down in my tralier. I was staying only a week at first, then it lead to two weeks, and now three weeks. It was taking a long time to get it up. we transfer all of the lights to LEDS, but the blow ups still take alot of power, with that said I started leaving some of the blow ups, out. The circuits were been blown to begin with but now since we changed the lights over.  I use the common area in site 802, and have always requested that site, because it will hold my decorations, and I also use the front of the site close to the road.

Here is what was told to me

The decorations have become a tradtion, and we wouldn't take them away. However, ya'll ( big decorators) Have created a monster and it needs to be toned down, Because of safety reasons.  We walked around all of mine stuff, and we did talk as to what would be ok.  They don't want things in the common areas, because it creates a traffic problem, and everyone walks in the common areas. I have noticed, for the last couple of years the bus have either missed the stop or has let people off not at the bus stop but a little past it so people could see the lights and it can be a distraction. When the buses/ carts go by, the wind could blow then in the road, or a cart can run over them and create an electricial problem.  Not at my site, but at others the crowd has no where to park and is creating a traffic jam

There are things that are going on that shouldn't be with the electricial boxes.  I was also told it can only be on your site, like maybe a 4by 4 area. they are suppose to let us know by email, what to expect for this year. I personally don't know if I will decorate at all this year other than a Christmas tree. and my mickey movie screen.

Here is a link to the pictures in 2007, some of the decorations have changed but not many and less blow ups.

  10. Hey, guys and gals!

We had done alot of research of what we wanted, and knew the price before we went to the show, and decided after we got there to buy our camper( I was afraid if I didn't see the others first I would be disappointed) they asked if people could come thru, and we said yes. Most people if they know it's sold, will take more care when looking. They cleaned the camper up, before they let us have it and we did our inpection.  We had a Fleetwood that I loved and I still miss, but we wanted something for the golf cart to be put in so I wouldn't have to drive two seperate vehicles to disney. I love my new camper! When we went to one dealership they wouldn't deal with us, because fleetwood went out of business, and they said you couldn't get parts for it anymore. (THAT WAS A CROCK). When we traded our very first time we had a good experience, but the new camper we traded for we took to the fort, and a stom and a tree limb popped 7 holes in it, it was our first trip in it, and it wasn't two weeks old yet.

When we went to get it fixed( I wanted a whole new Roof on it instead of patching) the guy driving it ran into a motorhome, and totaled it. I made them get me another new camper since it was their fault. We had left our tag receipt in the other one and they tried to sell it as new, and told the people it had never been off of the lot, and we couldn't  afford it and decided not to keep it. SO be careful if you buy a used camper, we wouldn't of even of know but the lady that got the old one found the receipt and called us to ask about the camper.

  11. Al I know is that the pirate ship was the[glow=red,2,300] MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!![/glow]

I would call and ask for the rules direct from the horses mouth so to speak.... talk to one of the bus drivers or maybe the guy that runs the rake on the beach in the morning....   Seriously, call and talk to a manager and get it straight!  And take LOTS of pictures of the construction and final  project for those of us who will not be at the fort for a long long time to come

    also pm tiggerinbama

she enters the Christmas contest and is in site 801 every year

she goes ALL OUT... and would be able to help you probably more than any CM

Whip I was there and I thought you had it won, But needless to say, I never won either, I wanted the ribbon and tried for several years to win it, they change the rules every year and then wait a few days before and change them again, I finally gave up and quit entering because we had gotten so big, I thought it wasn't fair to the others( that didn't go all out and had good displays)for me to win it. I love the people coming up and asking about how we did this and that, and meeting new people. We even have snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I put it up for the kids, and the people now, because they love it. I just had to finally get over not getting the ribbon. They pick who they want and that' s it.

  12. we normally go as much as possible and when stacy can't pull the camper( I ain't pulling it)down we either stay in the tent, or we stayon dvc points omewhere else on property. We usually are there in FEb for ESPN, March for Britt's Birthday, sometimes Memorial Day weekend(now we are at Panama City Beach). July 4th for a week or two, Aug for anniversary, Oct. for Halloween, Dec for Christmas parade taping and back agin for three weeks for Christmas. We live 500 miles away it takes about 8 1/2 to 9 hours driving time.

  13. They did say some would be supervised, and the blow ups take alot of power, we were told that we couldn't put them close to the road, and they might have a 6 by 6 area, they are not sure yet. They did say they weren't stopping us from decorating just trying to keep it on the safe side.  They said we couldn't put things in the common area anymore, so that takes away my mickey living room unless I figuare out a way to put it on the concrete. I actually think they want more lights than anything else, (like displays). Dave's castle should be fine. We told them to email us before we came down, because if I bring all that crap down and can't use it, I would be upset. I don't store it, I bring it all down in the camper.
