I'm within about 3 weeks of needing to have my request in to have end of July off. Is this a go?

Now comes the fight over what to do with the body. I vote we have a one time $5 tax to build a rocket and send it as far from earth as pos.
-
I vote for the final weekend in July. The 29, 30 31st. We will probably be in on the 29th and leave the 31st. How about the kao on route 66? In eureka(sp) Mo.?

Happy Easter everyone.

Last week in July first week in August works for us.

Never stayed there but yes I agree the food court is pretty good. Some times we drive over from the Fort to eat there. Boatrights is a very good place to eat also.....
We've enjoyed the food court. I want to try Boatright's, but the rest of the family isn't such a fan of cajun-type cooking, so I haven't tried it.
I had crawfish with all the fixens and a steak the last time we were there. My wife had some kind of chicken platter and loved it. Our drinks were never bolow half when they were refilled and people were always making sure you didnt need anything. I didnt feel bad about leaving a large and deserved tip.

We havnt done it but plan on it in Nov. Looks fun, I may do it also.

The koa doesnt look to bad. Better than the other options anyway. I think the company we have there will make it much better.

Mid July would be best for us. But we can probably make most times work.

We go through Atlanta around 5 am and rarely have to slow down. Between 5 30 am and 7 pm I would stay away from Atlanta. :D

Brought ours home a month ago only to have to put it back before another snow storm. Brought it back last weekend. If it snows now I will just have less driveway to clear. :)

Last week I saw where someone was asking about the light up flamingo's. Lowes has them for $59. Couldnt remember the thread where I saw the original question.

Grand Marquis. The official car of old people. Now if it was a Crown Vic former cop car now that's a thugs car.
hahahahahahaha my parents have a Grand Marquis, and Dad turns 81 today!
No more bidding on those tags for me, I can't spend $30 on a license plate, I kinda like being married :rofl2:
Past my wallet at $35. I will buy something else in Nov when we are there. :argh:
-
Top bidder for now. :rofl2:

We have a couple campgrounds within 30 miles of home so a few short trips this year. The big one next year to the Fort will happen even if gas is $6 a gallon.

I booked for our trip in June of next year. Very busy that time of year so better early than not get it. Thanks for the phone number. :D

 Thanks for giving me a dose of the Fort. :siren:

We had 1459 in the inner loop. Not bad at all.

If you stay at Drummer Boy just ask that they put you away from the road. We stayed at Artillery Ridge and loved it. Not sure about the bath houses but laundry was clean and the camp store had a lot to offer. Very close to all the sites.

We dined there in 09. It was good but not great. On quick service next trip and wont spend the extra for only "good" food.
