Just as an update to mine, we stayed at Casey jones on our trip down. Nice clean park, hard packed grass pull-thrus. Not much around but very easy off of I-75. Nice folks, $25. Will stay here again on our next trip down.

Is the second dump station in loop a/e or is it on the road that runs between the loops? Trying to see how far I would have to drag the dump cart if we don't get a sewer hook-up.

I have gone to Fall Creek Falls at least once a year since I was born (38 years). IMO there is no better park in Tennessee. My 5th wheel is 30 ft and we generally stay in campground B or A. They both have full hook ups while E does not. E is the most secluded if water and electric only are ok. You will not run out of things to do. My family likes to hike from the nature center over the top of the falls and then down to the bottom. Great views and cold water to swim in at the base of the falls. There are great ranger programs and nightly softball games that are a blast. I would try to get sites 91-98 in B if I could.
How are b60-80? Lots avail, not too concerned about the sewer.
-
Great, B98 is still avail for when we want.

We have a 26' BH TT now. We love it, just looking to upgrade in the next few years. It will have to be a BH and have at least one slide (we have none now). No hurry, just wondering about the 5er.

We are currently using a Fort modem and our personal wireless router. It is working perfect for DH to do his on line masters seminars.
+1.
This is what we did (except for the masters seminars) worked great.
-
We have a 30' TT.
Thanks for the info, I look forward to hearing more about it.

Who has owned/has experience with both? Which do you prefer? Advantages/ disadvantages of each.
-
Has anyone ever camped here? We are thinking about going towards the end of July. Just wondering what areas of the park are best (or ones to avoid). Can't find many site pics online.
Thanks,
Mike

This thread has definitely taken a turn, I just wanted directions to the park.
I am just glad that I never do anything that someone else may consider rude.
-
Tankpilot, just start a new thread when you arrive that gives your site number. Then get the pie ready and wait!
I thought everybody brought the new guy stuff, kinda like "welcome to the neighborhood." I like beer.

This Bus Pilot would like to meet a Tank Pilot, but it's not meant to be. We leave on a 7 day Disney this Sat.
I would much rather do that than meet me too.
-
You MUST meet Lou. You can't really call yourself a Fiend until you meet Lou. And ask him to spike you. You'll like it.
Will look for him. We arrive Sunday.

I think most people referring to cranky bus drivers were doing so tongue in cheek. :user2552:
Thank you. I don't know Lou from Lou, just thought I'd jump on the bus.

What time do we need to he at the marina in order to make it to MK by the opening show/rope drop?
How early to drive to Epcot? AK?
-
Make sure your ready to spend some money. It goes fast around world showcase.
Seems to be going fast everywhere these days.
-
Yep!
I agree about driving to AK....that bus ride seems to take FOREVER.
But, I don't know if you like enjoying an adult beverage or not, but I prefer busing to Epcot because I like to have a couple of beers around the World Showcase and then I don't have to worry about driving afterward. Just a thought. The bus ride to Epcot is not bad at all from the Fort.
Hadn't thought about the adult beverages at Epcot.
-
BUT, if you get there and decide you really prefer just to ride the buses, it is doable.
I hear the bus drivers are cranky.
-
Sounds easy enough, thanks.
-
Last minute, but important (maybe stupid) question that I have been meaning to ask. We are going to take the boat to MK but planned on driving to Epcot and AK instead of the multiple bus transfers. Is there signage out of the fort to all the parks? If not, what are the directions? Is parking free since staying on property?
Still trying to get to 100 posts before leaving.
Thanks,
Mike

We loved the show when we were there 3 years ago, my daughter got to join in when they bring the kids in. We were looking forward to it this year, too bad it is closed for now. So, we will go see nemo and the birds.

We used to use a drop in from walmart. Talked to a gut at a RV service place and he recommended camco rhino enzyme. That is what I am using now. He said the demonstration given to him was quite impressive.

We are staying at Casey jones next Saturday. Reviews on it seemed okay, especially for an overnight. I don't have any first hand knowledge though, not till next weekend. Kelly's also was recommended to me.

For 1400, is the outer or inner loop better? Haven't really heard anything about 1200 and 1300, how are those 56 sites sharing one CS? Is there a bridge directly from 1300 over to the pool?

We were in 1429 a couple of weeks ago, great site. Backs up to canal, nice and private on door side of TT, easy walk to CS, movie, etc. easy to back in to. Definitely recommend.
