CoachClough 12 Posted May 30, 2013 Report Share Posted May 30, 2013 So I'm looking at the school calendar for next year. We're already planning a June trip, but I'm seeing a gap in January. MLK weekend specifically. How is occupancy typically that weekend? The last 2 winters have been mild here in the mid-atlantic, but my hope would be to wait on making a res as long as possible. Brent... Just Brent 83 Posted May 30, 2013 Report Share Posted May 30, 2013 I've been before since, I too, have to follow a college schedule. The parks are crowded - not July 4th crowds, but busy. The last time I was there that weekend, the Fort was pretty much full. I'd definitely book now and cancel if you change your mind since it only costs the one night deposit.
