Celebrity chef to lead cooking demonstration at Downtown Disney?s Portobello Restaurant

Next month, Portobello Restaurant in Downtown Disney will welcome Chef Tony Mantuano of Chicago?s Spiaggia Restaurant. He?ll lead a Sicilian cooking demonstration for 30 guests on Friday, May 13. The demonstration will feature a walk-through of a full meal, from pre-dinner drinks to dessert, and will include Caponata served with crostini, Eggplant Fries, Gnocchi with Pork Ragu, and a Lemon Marmalade dessert, among other dishes.

Chef Tony Mantuano is a multi-year winner of the James Beard Foundation Awards, deemed the ?Oscars of the food world? by TIME Magazine. The Sicilian cooking class is $49.95 per person and will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Registration for the class is on a first-come first-serve basis and will be open until Monday, May 9 or until the class is full.
