  1. I can't get the kids (Ha in their 30's Parents) to commit to anything. Just need to give them a little time. I think we could do the big RV but they don't know. I just need to sit them down and talk it out. I am sure this problem has never happened with parents that have 3 young kids. I can't imagine how they do it. I am exhasted just watching them when we visit. I have been to WDW 3 times since they opened and with texting we could keep up pretty well I think.
  2. Thanks Kelly, I will look at the tips. Got to go play golf. Talk tonight. Susan
  3. Hi, I just got a package code for Disney for Art of Animation. I doubt it works for much of a savings for a suite but I will check it out this afternoon or have Jason check it for me. I was thinking the kids could stay there and we get a smaller rv for FW. Just thinking?!?
  4. You guys think I am nuts but I have been on 10 to 15 advice sites because I love to read about places that I am going to before going. I think I enjoy the reading almost, and I mean almost as much as the actual trip. I like hearing what people like and don't like about a place and then making up my own mind when I go there. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
  5. So glad, this is really fun. Do you guys go to FW every year and know each other. I think I would love to get out of the mountains and come south once a year.
  6. SO SORRY!! I thought you guys had stopped posting and I didn't see the next page until today. Are you still there? I have been searching for all sorts of info and I loved what you said. I am going Feb 1 through 7 if kids agree. I may go without them if they don't just to stay there with you guys. Susan.
  7. Never mind I found a FAQ at http://allears.net/acc/faq_fw.htm#carts You guys are the best to help me out. Susan
  8. What do you guys catch in streams and lake. Small mouth and large mouth bass? I will bring rods and lures for kids. Do you use live bait?
  9. I will leave it up to the kids and their budget on the eating. I can backpack semi frozen plastic drinks and finger sandwiches if the parents want that. THis is a wonderful site. I love traveling. I haven't been to WDW in 12 years. I brought my mother after my father passed away to Epcot and Winter Park to the Tiffany Glass Museum.
  10. I will book mark them now. Thanks for the suggestion.
  11. Do all you guys eat at Fort Wilderness and stay away except for the occasional meal at Parks or Character meal for kids. I saw there were lockers at the entrance. Can you put PB&Js and semi frozen drinks in the locker in a soft cooler bag and not run into trouble?
  12. Super! We can play it by ear (no pun intended) then on parks to see and in what order depending on Feb. weather.
  13. Our 8 year old will be fine with rides. I plan on taking the 4 year old back at lunch time for lunch and naps and have read a lot of $1 books from our thrift shop with height requirements and such. We want to go early to take in the 4 year old plan first starting with his activities the 8 year old will enjoy and work our way forward to let me take him back to the Fort. Then our daughter and son-in-law can take the 8 year old to her activiites depending on everyones stamina. I think we are looking at 4 park days and 3 at Fort Wilderness. Can you add days to your purchase of park tickets on
