  1. We just got home from 2 weeks in Florida, the first 5 were spent camping at the Fort. Well, we had planned on camping at the Fort. But it gets better, I promise. For any who were at the Fort the last full week in June, you might remember that Thursday afternoon brought a deluge. I arrived via plane (and Disney's Magical Express). My wife and daughter arrived via car. The original plan was for them to get to our campsite (1508) and begin setting up. I'd join them to finish and then we'd go to dinner over at the Settlement. What actually happened was I was dropped off at Outpost. You couldn'
  2. I hear ya. After I moved ITP, I almost cancelled it, until this. :)
  3. Yup. There's a little of a delay. But worked fine (too good in my case with both transponders in the car). http://www.peachpass.com/blog/where-can-your-peach-pass-take-you

I've looked at these. I'm challenged by either that kind of investment for such a short use and that we're already up against the cusp of what we can take in our car. Thank you! Thanks for the heads up! Great idea
  6. Thanks for this wonderful post. We have the same tent. Do you remember what kind of campsite you set up on? I like the idea of being closer in the preferred sites but I'm afraid there won't be enough of a pad to set up on.
  7. Hello all, Something of a lurker. Let me begin by saying I've enjoyed everyone's post and wisdom. The family--me, wife, 6 year old daughter--is going to be making yet another pilgrimage to Disney, this time staying at Fort Wilderness for the better part of a week. We've done Disney several times. We've stayed in the bubble (Port Orleans Riverside) and outside the bubble (Windsor Hills). This time, we're going to be stopping at the Fort on the way to a friend's condo at the beach. The goal of this trip is to go at a slower pace and take in some of the non-park activities at WDW. My q
  8. We were thinking about do the same thing the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Would that be a restricted time, as well?
