  1. Ah so maybe my WIFI booster setup will pick up a plenty good soignal. When I get there the later part of Feb I'll try it out and post my site and how well it works.
  2. Ya I read that about bringing the wireless router. I am a broadcast engineer and IT support and you can bet I'll have my usual load of goodies for all things related to electronic communications. Thanks Mouseketab and everyone else for the help.
  3. Great! Appreciate the info. While we hope to have no time to watch any cable, you never know and the ability to get good internet with the modem is a plus. Wife and I both have jobs where we might just have to break out the laptop and using free internet beats using up the data plan.
  4. I understand that you can get the modem from the Meadows Trading Post and hook it to the cable and have internet. Do all sites have a cable hookup? I can't find it now but I thought I saw somewhere that only certain loops have a cable hookup. We are trying for either loop 1400 or 400.
  5. Good point but in this case it wouldn't happen. Plus we would want to treat her to things since she has shared her house at the beach plenty of times.
  6. Thank you Jason and Mouseketab for the welcome and great info. Looks like we will have no trouble whichever way we do it. From NC and we have done Disney parks many times over the years and now the daughters are 22 and 26. 26 year old is married to an Air Force guy and lives in Okinawa Japan, She is coming in for a month and we thought we would do an old fashioned family vacation together. 2 years ago we bought a camper and doing Disney now for a new perspective of staying in the Fort for 4 nights. Then going to west coast of Florida for some Kayaking adventures. Gonna be a great 10 days.
  7. We will be staying at the Fort in Feb and wife has a friend who lives near Orlando and would like her to come in and visit us and go to dinner, probably at Wilderness Lodge. Can you have guests? What are the hoops you might have to jump through to do this. Is there a way they can use the transportation? Can she just drive directly to the Lodge and eat with us? Thanks for any help.
