FYI. Just got back from Up the Creek campgrounds in Pigeon Forge.  I have to tell you. This is probably one of the nicest campgrounds we've stayed at. The only cons are that they do not have a pool, no bath house or laundry and no playground or kids activities.  It's nothing like jellystone/yogi bear but if you want a very well kept campground that is 5 minutes from the parkway but feels like your in the middle of the GSMNP. This is the place to be. I was going to do a trip report but with the whole Photobucket thing, I guess I'm not.  They actually have about 6 sites that are pull in only for motorhomes so you see the Creek out your front window.
