There is no way you can convince me that a beach in a southern state is going to be any cooler in July. Quite a few I can think of won't be less crowded either. just saying... :clint:

its not that it is cooler I would rather be at the beach then at Disney.. it's my trip so I am the only one that needs the convincing... Just Saying :clint:

Okay Now that I found time in the wee hours of the morning I will continue.....

We walked around for a while and did all the fun junk and the kids got to meet one of the miss sprint cups at the Spring customer booth like was always do..

I am so use to seeing Monica there and it was just weird.

They had show cars as usual so we got some pics of those and we cannot forget to get a pic of tow Mater the golf cart that we see at every race... the poor guy was like..... Hey are you following me to the kids cause I see you all the time and of course they laughed so we snapped a pic this time.

As you can see her my oldest DD is dressed like some crazy fan with that hat and tacky red bojangles glasses she won from spinning some wheel :hah:

We finished walking around and I still complained about being Bojangles having such a lousy menu at the track and we decided to head back and get ready for the Garage tour and get a bite to eat.

Thanks Pam that was sweet!! We decided not to due to the heat and the crowds and opted for a cooler and less crowded time. This pixie loves the beach!!

I'm sure there will be spaces. The trick might be getting spaces next to each other though - especially the good ones on the hill we had at Easter where we could keep an eye on the playground from our sites. hmmm, maybe I should call and give them $25 to hold one for me just in case.

Those were some good sites up there perfect for those who have kiddos and pretty close to the pool and store!

We were told everything was ready but haven't seen a contract yet. Starla has been playing phone tag with the GBR rep who will handle the transfer. Since we've been busy every weekend it wasn't at the top of our agenda yet but when school lets out I figure it will be.

Where you staying "south"? all summer south but no fort??

We are hitting the road and head south on June 6 and are going to wing it until August 8th hubby had ocean lakes booked and a few other CGs but I let him plan the trip this time and I am just going along for the ride!! .. we changed our disney dates to mid oct so we could combine our charlotte trip with disney.

ruh-roh... she can use mom's addy but her license is still going to say she lives here. No way to change that without having proof of residency and changing everything.

We're still playing phone tag with the guy but were planning to get it done before school lets out assuming the contract looks okay. I'm worried that there are back dues owed or some other surprise waiting to catch us off guard...

if he has back dues he will have to pay them before the transfer can be done and the id must match the address on the contract I would see if you could get that changed if you really want the membership.

well shoot, the pixis are GBR's one redeeming quality.

They installed a new septic system.. no more leaks or smells!! LOL

Oh and you may want to make sure that Starla uses a different address then home cause if her id shows the same address as yours they will not let the transfer go through being that she is an adult from the same household and once a tour is done under that address it is put into the system for 2 years so no sales or transfers will be allowed to go through until that time period passes.

Are we still on? I'll need to change my fort dates but it sounds like fun.

Starla is in the process of assuming a GBR membership - if it works out. If gas prices get too much worse we might stay there with Jess.

we may not be using our GBR membership this summer.. we plan to stay south!
