    What wristbands?

I only recall the doing the wristband thing once, and it was so inconsistently enforced that it was useless.

    TCD

We went for 4th of July one year and I read recently they enforced the wristband rule a few 3 days weekends ago.  I thought it was great.  You could only be in the pool if you had a wristband.  CM's approached us and asked what campsite we were staying at and they checked it against their roster.  I thought it was great.  As a paying guest at the Fort I thought it was a great way to keep the free loaders out.

I actually like that the golf cart parade was moved to the 30th. Having the cart parade in the evening just before trick or treating added to the congestion, and the "madness". In addition to folks taking kids around on carts to ToT, you've got the "leftover" loopers wandering around in their still decorated carts and folks trying to get back to their sites after watching the parade. Moving that "away" from ToT will decrease the congestion, I'm sure

    I AGREE!!!!

I believe it is Saturday, the 29th at Jenn's site, and Lorna is also hosting a gathering on Sunday the 30th at her site

Now that we have the Schedule of events from the Fort, I can plan!  What time are these GG scheduled for?

4 weeks to go:  Planning mode (ON)

  4. Do we think there is no mention of ToT due to the "outsiders"?  Maybe possibly making them confused as to when to show up?  I mean, I am down with not letting the free loaders in, but I still really really want my kids to ToT.  We have never been to the Fort for Halloween on a Monday, so I am just curious and hoping some of the veteran Fiends can possibly shine some light on this.

I think I may place a call today.  I don't understand why they just don't do wrist bands like they do for Fourth of July weekend.

-Germany has beer and wine tasting in the crystal gift shop.

-Have a drink at the rose and crown bar in the UK.

-Enjoy a baked treat from the patisserie in France

-Sit in any of the countries and watch the entertainment with out someone pulling on your arm every 5 minutes.

-Enjoy a couple of small plates at the Spice Road Table in Morocco

-Stroll over to the boardwalk through the international gateway and check out the scenery and new AbracadaBAR

    -Shop at the shoppes

Oh, that all sounds so nice!  I am gonna enjoy this trip.  Thank you!

Wine tastings, margarita tastings, eat, more eating, and RIDES! I once had a chance to spend a few hours in Epcot alone, and it was great!

I don't know how this is gonna pan out, but I am excited about having 5k vs the entire park opened.  Really hoping I can get into Frozen.  Besides that think I am planning on margarita's (as long as I am off of the pain meds by then) and desserts around the world.

Soaring, Soaring, Soaring - and maybe the new Norway ride - if you're a Frozen fan.

 I planned on Soarin' and depending on the line might venture to see the new Frozen ride in Norway.  Other than that, I didn't want to be stuck drinking margarita's alone in Mexico.

  8. I am so excited!  On Thursday the company I am affiliated with is kicking off Opening Ceremony at EPCOT.  We're having a  dessert reception and the park will be exclusive to us for 2 hours! "For the first time in forever" I will have no kids.  And might I mention I just had surgery so Test Track is not an option.

What do you guys recommend to do from 6pm - midnight at EPCOT?

Yeah!  It's so expensive to eat out with the kids.  Figured we can put the littles on a boat and go grab a fancy drink and some grub at Tambu Lounge at the Poly.

  10. We have a  2003 Coachman Clipper Model #107 pop up and just now in need of some MISC repairs.  And we have no idea where to go for advice/instruction!   There are millions of places on the interwebs, but can someone just direct us on a trusted place to go for instructions on how we can fix the following.....

We need to replace some rotted wood where the spare tire is hanging and some rot where the exterior locks go.  We also need a new exhaust fan on the ceiling.

    TIA

Keep in mind it's something that not a lot of people do because it's not something I would suggest for a first or second visit. My son absolutely loved it and they fed him lunch. If you go online it gets great reviews.

We only have experience with the one from the grand Floridian. If Z ever does it again, we would do the one there again because it's more convenient to the fort. I doubt a lot of people have tried multiple locations.

Yeah, I was thinking the one from the Grand Floridian due to location.  Hoping to catch a lunch with the hubby while the kids are on cruise!

  12. We are planning our trip for Halloween  week 2016 and my boys have decided they would like to take one of the Pirate Adventure Cruises.  Has anyone's kids taken these adventure cruises?  And if so, which one did they like best?

    Disney's Pirate Adventure
Crossing Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, this pirate cruise treats kids to a reading of "The Legend of Gasparilla"—a real Florida pirate. Departs from the Marina at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Islands of the Caribbean Pirate Cruise
Buccaneers sail the Ports of the Caribbean waters, as they hear the story of Old Port Royale and its pirate-laden past. Departs from Barefoot Bay Bike Works at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.

    Albatross Treasure Cruise
Kids hear "The Legend of the Albatross" and search for pirate booty across Crescent Lake and Epcot park’s World Showcase Lagoon. Departs from Bayside Marina at Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney’s Beach Club Resort.

    Bayou Pirate Adventure
Sailing down the Sassagoula River, young scallywags listen to the legends surrounding Captain Jean Lafitte—one of the most infamous pirates ever to haunt the waters of New Orleans. Departs from the Fishin' Hole on Ol' Man Island at Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.
