I was readying PurTcrazies and runner's trip report and it got me thinking. With the storms in August (Goes toward the end starting the 14th for 2 weeks), how often does the Fort lose power? How bad are the storms?

Great report.

This was great another one of these (many more actually) would be awesome. Don't know if you go to the parks or not, but one of what ever park you do go to would be a good one too.

That was cool, I have always wanted to do a caravan trip.

Hey Troll,
I loved your trip report on the other site, can't remember the name.
This one is just awesome though. The make up your mind is good, the reflections picture is awesome.

Read the whole trip report, now finishing the compliments. Your TR's are great. This got me even more excited about my trip.

Hey that cuts out the majority of the time I have to read this board!!!!! :rofl2:

There is a thing called life beyond the boards. As has been said he has been known to get busy. Come summer I may not be on as much because I'll be camping (not that anybody cares)

A couple of photos from the old Adventurers Club downtown Disney. This place was so cool.

We just took our 3 year old grandson who is a also a lover of chicken fingers/nuggets. Here is a list I put together of children's menu items from Epcot. If we adults were getting a CS meal (like fish and chips from England) and they didn't have anything for him, we made sure to stop somewhere along the way and get his chicken before we got our fish and chips. The CS meals generally came with choice of grapes and carrots or french fries and cookie and choice of milk, water, apple juice or soda. TS meals usually had pasta/potato, vegetable/fruit and a beverage. Sometimes the TS meal had a choice of sides, sometimes not...we always asked the hostess before being seated if substitution was available for kids. The list worked for us in that we didn't have to stop and read all the menus along the way...just consulted the list about 1/2 hour before we decided to eat. Since it was February we didn't make any ADRs (just took a chance that table might be available) as normally we had dinner back at the Fort in the motorhome. Hope this might be of some help to you.

I go 81 and then cut across to 95 just north of Richmond. The 81 construction was done when we went through in November/December.
Came back 95 though and that was fine. I live near Worcester, MA. I leave to head down at 6pm and stop around midnight usually. I just can't make it far enough south to make that worth it to me to go 95 south all the way.

No changes to its a small world. Its the ride I can remember from the youngest age. I love that thing, the song does get stuck in your head though.

In 04 when I started going again as an adult, I bought the refillable mug. I planned on buying one every time I came to get mugs from all the different resorts I had been to. When they stopped doing that I stopped buying.

Here is another one. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I don't hear horror stories or bad reviews. I looked for several days trying to find reviews but didn't find any. I figured I would bid and Matt liked it too so we went for it. I like the attitude if it was meant t o be it will.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqwusSZJLgM here is a slightly larger version. Love the idea that Matthew will be able to walk around! After seeing this I was a liitle overwhelmed by the size. LOL!! No more she's in my space or his feet smell.... :D
That thing is bigger than my RV. Do you need a tow vehicle to bring it down?

I didn't get to go. Anything interesting? My brother said there was nothing new this year, but it was busier.
:partytwo: <----- He's cool

Who says (then) 7 year olds can't play agility?
That's so cool, Disney is training for Agility and he loves jumps. He is supposed to jump 12", which is what we train him at, but sometimes he jumps over the 20" jumps for fun (for him not me I get worried he'll break a leg).

My niece (she's 23 now) went to France we she was that age. She loved it and still talks about it. It helped her learn more than what's in her home town.
Can't say what I would do, I don't have kids.

One of my pet peeves is when you fit time in your trip to get some laundry done and some other camper will have used one or more washers/dryers and just leave their clothes lying in the machines long after the cycles have finished.
In college we used to just take them out and leave 'em on the table.

Late arrivals:
If you are arriving at a park after normal quiet hours, attempt some degree of stealth behavior. Not that it is easy to be unobtrusive pulling in an RV. But keep the set-up to the minimum required for the night. Your neighbors will understand that you need to pull in and hook up. They have probably been in the same situation. But they will lose patience if they spend an hour listening to loud conversation, slamming doors and arguments over how to level the rig. Do what is essential and remember that tomorrow is another day. The same sort of courtesy should be used if you are making an early morning departure. Don?t keep the engine idling for an hour before you leave. Tidy up your campsite the night before.
If you do end up arriving late get some walkie talkies so the driver and the spotter aren't yelling and swearing at each other. Well they'll probably swear just in the walkie talkie so only they will hear.

Anyone got an auto change over system available for free? ;D My next motorhome will definitely have one of those.
