Dang Dan, that bites. I still think of you and your family all the time, I miss all the good times we had chatting at my old place!

There is nothing I can say that is any different than all the rest, just know you are still loved and thought of by lots of us nuts, and we would all love to see you at the Fort sometime soon.

I can tell you from personal experience, that 80 mph cross winds while driving at about a max speed of 20 mph, will rip a closed locked and latched awning right off the side of your TT. It sucked, it left us on the side of I-80 in Oh in TORRENTIAL rain with me trying to remove the bent and twisted remains of ours so we could make it the rest of the way home!!! Our insurance paid for the new one, minus the dang deductible of course. :argh:

Ok I will say it to, HOLY #@$^!!! I am so glad you guys are ok! We are taking our German Shepherds next month, and they are going in their crates!

I will tell you, with the A-pillars damaged, the truck should be a goner, I am not sure of the camper, but I bet they fix it.

I don't know if any of you watch the Deadliest Catch or not. But on if the crews sent those up one night to freak out another crew. I about died laughing when the captain started freaking out seeing weird lights floating over the Bering Sea.

Have you seen Cars 2 yet, it starts with one of the "spies" going out to sea on the northwestern, and it has Sigs voice... not everyone will catch it, but I did cuz I love that show!!!

OK, here's the deal... I blocked off about 7 that are right next to each other.... She is holding them in my name, John Bibbee for about 5 or 6 days, then she will put them back in the system, but will supposedly call me if someone else wants them before we are all booked. Erica uploaded a lot of pics last night on FB, we spent about 6 hours in the area yesterday and didn't scratch the surface!! We really want to go floating at the campground, it looks like a lot of fun!!!

Went exploring today WOW!!! Lots of really cool stuff to do! I posted pics on fb, still on my phone so don't know to post them here. We reserved sites for all of us at rivers edge, took pics of sites we reserved, right on river. Campground will take us upstream and put us in tubes and we can float back to the campers!!! I will post pics later when we get home. If that cg isn't ok, then we looked at a few others but we really liked this one.

Hey John we will be at the Thousand Trails park near Jefferson Oh would it be worth it to take a ride to check out Waldermeer Park, I don't think it is a far ride last time we went to Geneva on the Lake it was ok for somewehere new just not much there. Any help would be great, thanks.

To be honest, I have never been there, driven by hundreds of times but never gone. You see I was a giant fat guy up until this summer, so going to a water park never crossed my mind... LOL I didn't want people trying to roll me back in the water saying "save the whale, save the wale!" :rofl2:

My cousins were just there this past weekend and said they had fun, not great, but ok in their words. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Western Pa, right on the Oh line. About an hour north of Pittsburgh.

I will have to check our schedule when we get home. We don't leave the fort until Saturday. Have a long weekend/fishing trip scheduuled for the end of July near Erie, and the girls have a yearly weeklong stay at a local campground in early August. (Dad will be driving to work every day...) the weekend you have chosen iis a coin toss for us. Hopefully it works out!

When you come to Erie, let me know, we are just a hr and half away, I will wave... LOL I hope you can make it to the GG.. :D

I am thinking of taking Erica and Matt and driving down and checking out the campgrounds tomorrow. I will let you guys know!

Mr. Whip was working on his funding in order to pay for their next trip to the Fort by teaching the kids how to play Texas Hold'um

I'm not sure, but I am pretty sure I got drunk with that guy, and about 30 other fiends, one day, but the whole day is a little fuzzy. There may be photographic evidence tho.... :rofl2: I think he may have been wearing a hat made of baloons.. LOL

Dave your 14 hrs is still a lot less than my 22! At 14, we might make it there in the next 3 yrs, at 22, I don't think so.

The fish and chips is my favorite meal at Disney - I like it so much - if you look closely I have a picture of it in my signature. A nice cold beer - fish and chips on the water - Im all set. Thanks for taking the time to do a trip report for even a one day visit - thats dedication to your followers!

I will tell you, I have had fish and chips all over England, (my cousin drove a delivery van for chip shops and took me with him, I did a lot of sampling) and the fish and chips are tasty there, but don't hold a candle to the real stuff.. LOL

Matt Erica and I spent a lot of time last trip looking for hidden mickies, we have tons of pics, I just need to find the password to my darn photobucket accout... LOL

Dave, every time I see pictures of your family and read your posts, I am in awe! You and "not Cindy" are truly an inspirational people! I hope to shake your hand soon and meet the rest of your amazing family! I can't wait to read more.
