  1. Had DVC since 2002 and love it.  We have points at Beach Club and Saratoga Springs.  I am also against a DVC at the fort.

We have only started staying at the fort a few years ago and will be going in December.  We mainly stay at the DVC resorts, but may do more camping after we see how the December trip goes.  Would still use our points for DVC, not the fort.

  2. MetalDad - I also do St. Baldricks. This will be my fourth year coming up. Last year a group of swimmers I coach came and watched me. They somehow convinced me to leave it in a mohawk. I kept the mohawk for about a week, then it finally had to go.

I started doing it after one of the swimmers I coached passed away from Cancer. I think the least I can do to help is to get my head shaved.

Also, no need to turn in your man card. Supporting your sister and all of the others that are out there running earns you plenty of points.

Best wishes to your sister and to all others.

  3. Yep -- parade time.

All right, now, take a look at the young guy in the photo above wearing the blue shirt, standing next to the lady with the long, black, uncasual skirt. What is that thing around his waist? It looks like a hoodie, but it's got backpack straps.

It looks to be a baby carrier

And if you look closely in this one:

You'll notice that weird, sketchy fox thing. Don't see him? He's wearing like a green striped top hat.

    Look closely.

    Who is that guy, anyway?

    I mean, I don't think he's a real Disney character.

He's not B'rer Fox. That's for sure. Who is he? What movie was he in? I don't know, but I see his ass all over the park. How do they decide to put that guy -- of all the great Disney characters they have in the Disney animated arsenal -- in the parade? Does he work cheap? I don't get it.

It looks to be a guy from Pinocchio. http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/J._Worthington_Foulfellow

  4. Hooray for skipping school and pouring dirt on each other's heads!

What could be better than that?

And, please tell me who that guy is over there on the left in this photo and where the rest of his body is. WTF? :

The guy looks to be in a hammock.

  5. That's what I think also we got them for $o activate 99 each they are 4 day hopper pass, I did see that right now being a DVC member we can get a AP for $399 each and do not have them till you want to use them so if you already have a AP you can wait till they expire. We might do this for a upcoming trips.

Not just the AP, but the PAP. Definitely thinking of doing the same. You can not buy the tickets till October 1st and must buy them by the end of the year. However, you are correct on being able to wait to use them. I wish they would give us discounts on the Premier Passport (Both Disneyland and WDW). I have a conference in April in Anaheim and have enough trips that I could use it, but with the PAP so discounted, I will jst buy DL tickets.

  6. While I suspect that they will not change the no alcohol policy, all of the outside sources are doing the same thing, speculating.

I've serached the WDW internal web sites and can't find a word about what will be offered at Gaston's Tavern except for for the abbreviation, TBD.

That is very true and I would have to go with the guy that truly is an insider. I agree with TCD and others, I hope they keep up with tradition. If you need a drink that bad, then take the monorail or a boat and get one at one of the hotels.
