  1. You may not have this problem in Jan., but I thought i'd add my experience from last summer... Our ADR was for about 10 minutes before a showtime. Well, it turns out that nobody wants to leave while the show is going, so no tables were opening up, and all the ADRs were running late. We were eventually seated about 45 minutes after our ADR time... Food was good once we finally got in :-) --Paul Sent from my GT-P7510 using Tapatalk
  2. Well, we arrived at 11:10 this morning... Site was ready when we checked in, and we were through the check-in gate faster than the other lines... Not sure if online check-in helped that or we were just lucky... In site 318 for 9 nights! Btw, the sites app says backin for 318 is "very hard"... Might want to update that to "nearly impossible". Took a few attempts to get our 33' tt in, other cars just off the road didn't make it easier... Almost gave up and headed back for another, but just got in on the last try... --Paul Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  3. I don't think that is right... the support posts are too close together... and more importantly the monorail beam is not T-shaped... it has a rectangular cross section... The supports/structure don't look right for the people mover either... Unless this is all inside Space Mountain... Maybe it's not track at all, but just part of the Space Mountain structure? --Paul
  4. Thanks, we'll probably do the online check-in and hope for the best... No plans until 7pm on arrival day anyway, so it won't be the end of the world if our site isn't ready until the afternoon... --Paul
  5. Does anybody do this? We'll be arriving in 2 weeks (Sunday 6/23), and plan to arrive around 11am. I know this is a little earlier than the published check in time, would doing the online check-in and noting an 11am arrival time help my chances of a site being ready? Or should I just show up and check-in when I arrive? Thanks, --Paul
  6. Thanks... Dunedin RV park was actually bubbling to the top of my list from web research... It looks like from the satellite views that they have a dozen or so RV spots that are up front and not just mixed in with the mobile homes... I'm happy to see you give it a recommendation... I don't think we'll be spending a great amount of time in the campground anyway, just 2 nights and then off the the Fort with a preferred site for 9 nights!. The only problem is their website seems to have an issue with allowing me to make a reservation (or even show me rates!)... I guess I'll have to call.
  7. We will be attending a family reunion in the Tampa area this June. Safety Harbor to be specific. We will then be heading to The Fort. I've been looking online and everything seems to be a mobile home park with a few RV sites thrown in. Not my first choice, but we will only be there a few days, so as long as it's not a dump, I guess it would work... Anybody have any favorites or suggestions for that area? any campgrounds that have less permanent/mobile home sites? Thanks, --Paul
