  1. When I was a teenager - back in the dark ages - we were camping at a local campground and a young couple moved into the site next to us.  They were French Canadians with little modesty.  They had a very small tent and chose to dress and undress outside.  My brother and I sat and watched them attentively to make sure no small animals attacked them while they were dressing.  It was he least we could do.

    That was just GOOD etiquette

  2. Fried is good, but smoked is better.

I agree with that.......  I hate getting the shot out of those suckers though.......  about 30 years ago (out of season) a whole flock of turkeys was stupid enough to trot through the yard of my in-laws farm house after we came home from church.  About 20 minutes later we had a couple of them in the bag.... it was too perfect to ignore.

  3. What a beautiful room!

    and I love your purse!!

Watch out or I'll hit you with it.  There was a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us too.  The marble fireplace is reaally nice and the shower is made for two with two showerheads.  I went on the balcony yesterday and scared the crap out of a bunch of geese which is not necessarily a good thing!

    ;) :dancingflam:

  4. We are going on a trip to the Finger Lakes again - a Valentine's Day present.  The place is the Aurora Inn ~ but we are staying at the E.B. Morgan House which is right next door.  Here's the website.  http://www.aurora-inn.com/

It was judged one of the 50 most romantic hotels in the world by Travel & Liesure magazine.

I still owe trip reports for our December trip to Disney at Polynesian Isles and Bonnet Creek and also for a stay in January in Seneca Lake at the VanCleef Homestead and the Hotel Clarence.  Here are a couple of pics of the places in Orlando.

I have many, many more pics.........

  5. In December we were at MK one day and it was very cold.  We were able to eat at the Liberty Tree Tavern without a reservation.  It was a warm place to sit.  It is not a buffet but the food is served family style which to me is the same.  Buffet pricing is insane at Disney.  The food was OK and the service was good but $90 for two of us is ridiculous!

We also ate at Marrakesh, La Cantina de San Angel, and Rose & Crown.  Besides quick service those were the only Disney places we ate at on a 2 week trip......... and R&C was for the Candlelight Processional package.........
