The Disney reservation system is a joke as far as I'm concerned.  It's such a PITA, you have to book way more days than you want to get what you want luckily they only want a deposit = to the highest rate.  I have started using a travel agent and has worked out very well and I usually get rates much cheaper than I can if I do it online.  The past 2 times using a agent I have gotten a premium site cheaper than I had a full-hookup for.    :banana:

Does anyone know what sites are on either side of the walkway from the group camping?  Maybe I'm wrong I think it is the 900 loop or is it 800 that the walkway is in? 

I'm calling today to request a site and I don't want to request either one of the sites that the walkway goes by.

Has anyone stayed at Grand Lake Golf & RV resort in Citra, Fl?  My DW will at the University of Florida for a week in August and wanted to stay in campground while she is there.  The price looks good at $180 for the week.

About the only roll that I care for in Japan is the volcano roll.  All the others I've had there were ok but nothing great...

1.  I know this has been said before but......DO NOT CUT THROUGH SITES BECAUSE YOU ARE TO LAZY TO WALK ON THE ROAD.... I don't know how many times people have tripped and broken the tie down ropes to my blow up Mickey screen at the Fort.

2.  I know we all have a lot of decorations we bring and I am one of them and If you bring a vehicle with you... but keep it out of the road and in your site.  I'm sure we all have tried to back into a site and to have someones stuff out in the road to where you can't get enough room to back in.... That's when I send the DW to the site to ask them to move because at that point you really don't want me to come and ask you to move....

Exactly!  I've had to tell them several times that we don't pay a fee for the campsites.  One lady kept arguing with me and I finally asked her if she would go ask a supervisor.  She came back and told me that I don't pay the fee...I think that was what I was telling her all along!

I for one hope that they do open a DVC campground.  I am a DVC member and like all members have a lot of $$$ wrapped up in points.  I love using my points at the Fort but it is so hard to get a resie on points.  But if they did open a DVC campground that is the only way I will buy more points.
