My biggest rookie mistake was spending all of my time at the parks and not building time into the plan to enjoy all The Fort has to offer.

I'm sorry for your loss. I still miss my Dora the Explorer. I often call her when I spill something on the kitchen floor, knowing that if she were here she would do a much better job lapping up the mess than I could do with a paper towel.

Nope I'm not ready. I'm a Dallas fan. Lol.
As long as Jerry the owner is Jerry the GM, we're sunk.

I have Dish at home - not their mobile service - and I can recommend it. The signal is lost only during really heavy rain. When I've had an issue, their customer service has been first rate. Good luck.

From USA Today - LA Dodgers extreme infield shift. All players positioned between first and second bases. What an odd look. It worked.

I found an article about detailing cars etc at:
http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/59327-how-restore-exterior-black-plastic-trim-2.html
"The Secret
The secret to keeping black plastic trim looking new is really simple but most people miss out on the secret because when they buy a new car everything looks really nice.
The appearance and physical condition of exterior trim goes down hill slowly over time, so slowly that you don't recognize the damage until it gets to the point where the damage has become so unsightly that NOW you see it.
Here's the secret... "Find something you like and use it often"
That is, while your car is still brand new and all the exterior plastic trim looks GREAT! Take the time to do some research on a forum like AGO, ask questions, get feedback and then purchase a quality exterior trim dressing and/or sealant and use it often.
Maybe not OFTEN but as a part of REGULAR MAINTENANCE. For example, use the trim dressing or sealant after every time you wash and dry your car or after every other time you wash and dry your car.
Just the act of rubbing some type of beneficial liquid over the surface has a cleaning and rejuvenating effect all by itself. That is the action of either a foam or microfiber applicator pad being pushed over the surface will remove dead, oxidized particles off the surface and push the product of your choice over and into, (to some level), the surface being treated.
It's pretty obvious that doing nothing at all will not maintain your car's exterior trim.
Find something you like and use it often"
If you like it than this usually means you like, or at least don't mind the procedure for both applying the product and removing any excess and you LIKE how it makes the trim look to your eyes.
Using it often just ensures the surface get some regular attention and that's really all it takes to maintain and preserve exterior trim.
Here's a product that's easy to use and lasts a long time. --> You <-- still have to clean the surface really well and then apply this product or whatever product you like on a regular basis or your trim will simply turn ugly again.
For a trim dressing and protectant after you get your trim clean, and something that is easy and fast to use so chances are good you'll stay on top of the care and maintenance of your trim, check out the Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant, it's what I used on the trim in the above article.
Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant 4 oz
Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant 16 oz.
Before I met my new bride the plastic trim on her Honda was dull and faded. I cleaned it really well and started applying this product and now REGULARLY APPLY IT after each wash and the trim looks like brand new. -
One of the local sports talk guys who laughingly calls himself the College Football Blowhard is picking Auburm to win it all.

... Our biggest "problem" is that Texas is do dang big and we live right smack in the middle, so it is really a 5-8 hour drive to just get out of the darn state! It really limits weekend getaways.
El Paso is closer to Los Angeles than Fort Worth.

If you don't plan on getting a golf cart, ask for a cabin closer to a bus stop. The cabin loop I was in was huge. I would have hated walking to the cabin from the bus stop after a long day in the parks.

Okay, I called the ESPN Club and spoke with Carrie who was very helpful. For future reference, you cal call the club at 407-939-1177 and find out what sports they will be broadcasting for that day only. They open around 11:30am, so you can call anytime after that.
However, they do not broadcast any fighting on Disney property. While it would make my life a bit easier if they would broadcast this particular event, overall I respect that decision and as a mom, I appreciate it. Honestly, when my husband and boy are watching mixed martial arts fighting, they often caution me not to look. It has taken some time, but I am learning that I really don't want to look when they say that.
I agree. The MMA stuff isnt't very Disney-like.

That's great!

Has anyone tried gluten free pizza crust made with cauliflower? I'm not gluten free but have tried to cut back on bread products and thought I might give this a try.
This is from Paula Deen's website. http://www.pauladeen.com/recipes/print_view/4696/
Cauliflower Crust Pizza
Ingredients
Non-stick spray
2 ½ cups grated cauliflower (about ½ a large head)
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 cup shredded part skim mozzarella
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup homemade or store bought tomato sauce
1/2 cup shredded part skim mozzarella cheese
1 cup grape tomatoes, sliced in half
2 cloves garlic, sliced
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
¼ cup basil leaves, for garnishDirectionsHeat oven to 425 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Grate the cauliflower using a box grater until you have 2 cups of cauliflower crumbles. Place in a large bowl and microwave for 7-8 minutes, or until soften. Remove and let cool. Mix in the egg, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper.
Once combined, pat into a 10-inch round on the prepared pizza pan. Spray lightly with non-stick spray and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden.
Top the pizza with the sauce, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Bake in the oven until melted and bubbly, another 10 minutes. Top with basil before serving.
Here is another recipe:
http://detoxinista.com/2012/01/the-secret-to-perfect-cauliflower-pizza-crust/
The Secret To Perfect Cauliflower Pizza CrustAuthor: Detoxinista.comA grain-free alternative to traditional pizza crust, that you can pick up with your hands!Ingredients- 4 cups raw cauliflower rice (about one medium head)
- 1 egg, beaten
- ⅓ cup soft goat cheese (chevre)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- pinch of salt
Instructions- Preheat your oven to 400F.
- To make the cauliflower rice, pulse batches of raw cauliflower florets in a food processor, until a rice-like texture is achieved.
- Fill a large pot with about an inch of water, and bring it to a boil. Add the "rice" and cover; let it cook for about 4-5 minutes. Drain into a fine-mesh strainer.
- THIS IS THE SECRET: Once you've strained the rice, transfer it to a clean, thin dishtowel. Wrap up the steamed rice in the dishtowel, twist it up, then SQUEEZE all the excess moisture out! It's amazing how much extra liquid will be released, which will leave you with a nice and dry pizza crust.
- In a large bowl, mix up your strained rice, beaten egg, goat cheese, and spices. (Don't be afraid to use your hands! You want it very well mixed.) It won't be like any pizza dough you've ever worked with, but don't worry-- it'll hold together!
- Press the dough out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (It's important that it's lined with parchment paper, or it will stick.) Keep the dough about ⅓" thick, and make the edges a little higher for a "crust" effect, if you like.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes at 400F. The crust should be firm, and golden brown when finished.
- Now's the time to add all your favorites-- sauce, cheese, and any other toppings you like. Return the pizza to the 400F oven, and bake an additional 5-10 minutes, just until the cheese is hot and bubbly.
- Slice and serve immediately!
NotesTime-Saving Tip: I recommend making a double-batch of cauliflower pizza crusts--> make one for now, and save one for later. After baking the crusts, wrap up the extra pizza crust in foil, and FREEZE it for a quick "frozen pizza" to enjoy another night! All you need to do is add toppings and bake at 400F, until the cheese is hot and bubbly. -
Well, the regular season is almost here. The local sports talk station I listen to says that if the Cowboys play a flawless season and have no more injuries, they will be mediocre at the very best. The station is advertising t-shirts someone has made that say #jtontfjtgm which means Jerry The Owner Needs To Fire Jerry The GM. Anyone have any suggestions for a team I can follow? I'm thinking about New Orleans.

Also, depending on funds, we thinking about booking some type of city tour or something like that.
We booked a trip a day trip to San Diego Zoo. A bus made the rounds of the area hotels that morning and took us to the tour provider's headquarters. There we were sorted to the correct busses and sent on our way. We enjoyed it.

Those are great! My crochet hooks are gathering dust in the closet. Which website did you use for instructions?

When you take your non-electric vehicle to the filling station, you fill it up and move on. When the people with electric vehicles plug them in at EPCOT, I assume the car can sit there all day even after it is fully charged? That by design is very limiting.

Here's my list of what were IMO, cool jobs starting in 1996
After being a CM for no more than six months at a time, I would return to the real world and resume my engineering business until the next break. My 18 year anniversary at WDW is in three weeks.
1.WDW Dolphin, Front Desk
2.WL, Bell Cap
3.YC, Bell Cap
4.GF, Bell Cap,
5.GF, Front Desk,
6.GF, Concierge
7.WL, Bell Cap
8.Bus Driver
9.Convention Guide
My list of Cool Jobs is more in keeping with the list Mo provided. I would not be good at the jobs you have enjoyed.

There are certain basic skills that all parents should teach their kids. How to swim, ride a bike, throw and hit a baseball for example. Obviously the current Miss Texas's parents came up short. If you didn't know how to throw a baseball don't you think you would ask for some pointers before you embarrassed yourself before thousands of people? (Well, there COULD have been thousands if the Rangers weren't in last place.)

I don't know anything about 3D printers, but couldn't you change the printer material to something red translucent?
Me neither but that is a really good question.

Breaking news. Ron Washington, the Texas Ranger manager, just resigned "due to an off the field issue". I'm sure there's more to come on this.
