  1. Since I'm new to posting here, how do you all keep putting in all these cool little animated icons? And my real name is Heather, btw. How do I add that after my screen name like I see some of you have aka...?
  2. Thank you Marty! I love to hear stories off God's miraculous provisions as well. He has definitely provided for us more times than I can remember, and I have heard many stories very similar to what you shared. I still can't get over what happened this morning. It was like He just dropped this present down out of the sky for us. I mean, I know we're only talking about a sewer hose here, and it seems like no big deal, but to me, this was a huge example of the goodness of my Lord and how He even takes care of the little things.
  3. You're right, I was looking for a specific brand, Valterra, and from an online search I saw that Wal-Mart did not carry it. So instead I just prayed about it and somehow it seems God made one show up by the trash can in the loop where we're staying. I don't know! Can't explain it, but I'm very thankful. :-)
  4. Wow! I didn't expect to see all these replies! I know some of you won't believe this, but it really happened. This morning I we praying that God would help us find a place nearby that had the right brand of sewer hose that could be an extension to ours. As we were driving out of our loop this morning, there was a new Valterra sewer hose kit with the box next to a trash can, same exact kind that we have. I hate to say I picked up someone else's trash, but I did! :-) Now we have what we need and are back to enjoying the happiest place on earth and no longer worrying about sewer hoses, lol! I tha
  5. Hi, we're at the fort and our sewer hose doesn't reach the drain. We have the red valterra one with an extension already attached and it's still not long enough. Stores here at the fort are really lacking in supplies. Where is the closest place we can go to get one? Thanks!
  6. Thanks everyone for all the great replies! And I have to say I love the Christmas Vacation picture. We quote Cousin Eddy all year long and now that we have an RV, we love to quote him even more! We do have the red sewer hose that screws in (I see so many of this same sewer hose at every campground we've been to so I thought it was pretty standard), and it seems like the problem was exactly as Bob described, the long tube below the threads would not fit into the drain. I was looking on Amazon for some kind of adaptor to fit onto this long tube in case we run into this again. I'm not sure wh
  7. Hello, we are fairly new to camping with a travel trailer. So far every place we've camped we have not had any trouble with the sewer connector/seal not fitting into the campsite sewer drain. We stayed at FW in loop 400 last month with no trouble, but this past week we stayed at site 105 and the sewer drain hole was too small for our connector that is supposed to screw into it. I tried the one at the empty site next to us and it fit there. Has anyone ever had this problem? Is there an adaptor or something we need in case we end up at another site like that sometime? I thought they were all a s
