I believe back in the dark ages, gas carts were not allowed. My brother in law brought his and got stopped a couple times by rangers.
But we were at the Fort last night and saw (an heard) plenty of gas carts. So if they are no longer allowed either the word didn't get passed around, they aren't enforcing it, or it's not quite a true statement.
Also saw a cart accident across from the Castle in 703. Someone in a cart ran just about full speed into the back of a parked cart.
How old was the driver?

Reminds me of the old photo booth. That only cost a quarter.

This brings me back to the VCR flashing 12:00

I remember a $100 a night and thinking that was outrageous. Now we have some serious decisions. If the Fort is $212 how much are the value resorts?

Went sat. And picked up our AP Christmas magnet . They Asked for pass holder gold card and drivers license. No scanning of magic bands. The Park was not busy but we were there early.

Just made 2018 thanksgiving reservations. All sites available for the bargain price of premium $129 (plus taxes).

Thanks for all the news. Is it safe to say not much painting getting done? ?
-
Safe travels and good memories. ?

Thanks for the additional information.

Thank you for your replies. I knew I could count on accurate information here.

Posted long ago was June 29. Is this still correct? Will be there that day and was curious?
-
Tried last week to make thanksgiving reservations and no availability??? Go figure.

Speaking of toy story where does the construction stand? All I hear about or see pictures of is Star Wars. Are they doing any construction?

Sorry to hear things haven't changed. I go back to only 6 people per site. If they have to pay for more sites means less beer money. We also avoid summer holidays.

If you can't navigate the site call the front desk and ask for another choice. Sometimes a parked truck makes it difficult.
welcome to the fiend family

I think there are two changes that could benefit the Fort for regular people... they are admittedly small things, but I think they could have a big impact:
1. Reduce the number of people allowed on a reservation from 10 to 6.
2. Only two parking passes per reservation.
Are those the only things they could do? No, but I think those two things would be a really good start.
Totally agree with your two points. Ten people per site is way to many. Many sites have 3 vehicles plus (golf carts, utility trailers, and so on). Isn't that what overflow is for?

How about the special guests who placed their order, go to pick up and need additional items or changes. How long does this take? They would be the ones in front of me. ?
-
Now that I have my food order where do I sit? Many times we have to search and then wait for a table.

When I got home from work and signed in the event was full no times available. Not fast enough.

Please let us know when you will be at the fort. Looking forward to seeing the ultimate Mickey light

Reservations we made a year ago say 1:00 check in. More recent reservations say 3:00. I don't look forward to the heat at 3:00 and trying to set up.

Where can I buy a cute mickey head?
-
Thanks for all your replies. Setting up at 3:00 is very hot here in FL. Sure hope is was an IT mistake.

Had to cancel spring break week. Needed truck repair and adding in the premium site price we couldn’t swing it. The refund for one night was $204.00. I consider that over the top.
