Hi ya'll. My name is Benton and I am a Fortaholic. The only things I love more is God and my family. Donna and I have been married for 32 years ( yea, I robbed the cradle). We have one daughter, Brandi. Her husband is Chris. They have 2 daughters, ages 10 mos and 3 years. We consider Brandi and her family to be our best friends and such a blessing from God! We all love the Fort and WDW. We hope to be able to go there every year. We recently bought our 2002 Winnebego specifically for our trips to the Fort. I am a tool and die maker (fancy machinist), Donna is a legal assistant, Brandi is a school teacher, Chris is a coal train engineer at our local power plant and mine. We are actually "going in half" on the RV. Our love affair with Disney began in the spring of 1999. We had never even considered going to WDW. Brandi was a high school senior and head twirler in the band. The band took a trip to WDW for spring break. Donna went along as a chaperone but I stayed home. Who wants to go 1000 miles to see all that kiddy stuff. Well, Donna and Brandi had a blast and came home telling me how wonderful it is and we were going the next year. I was a little skeptical but I did trust Donna so we started planning. Donna was working in a law office and a young lady there started telling Donna all about Fort Wilderness. Donna's mom and stepdad had a class C and offered to take us down there. So it was set, our first Fort trip, late May 2000. Oh man, I couldn't believe how cool this amazing place is. The HDDR, the boat to the MK, looping on a GC, Illuminations, the Rock'n Rollercoaster, It's Tuff to Be a Bug, Space Mountain, the unlimited Disney magic was and still is just wonderful. Now we have had 8 WDW vacations, all but one at the Fort. Yes, I am a Fort Fiend!
