Oh no.  Sounds like your day was much worse then ours.  I hope it has gotten much better.  We will try to stop by.  We are heading down to the pumpkin voting shortly then the beach bash(Jordan entered the pet costume contest and pumpkin decorating contest (#23) hope your day is going better today.

 

The Kane's are here.  Our arrival was lacking a bit of Disney magic.  Auto park locked up on the Motorhome 3 miles from the Fort, they gave us site 1635 across from the haunted house but there was already a camper set up on it.  4 different security guards stopped my husband in the motorhome while I was trying to get us another site and now our Harley Cart is giving us trouble.  Time for a drink and then the campfire sing a long!  We are now settled in 1805 if anyone wants to say hello.

Sounds like fun.  We will be out trick or treating but will try to stop by with some adult treats.

Nice!  The rest of us have to drive fast if we want to cool off.

We booked full hookup site also.  We will be looking for you.  We are easy to find with our red Harley golf cart, especially now that it has the fort fiends sticker on the back.

Lorna, when do you get in?  We want to make sure to get a chance to visit.  We don't arrive till the 29th so we will be missing Saturday's potluck.  Very sad about that, never occurred to me when I made our reservation that the potluck would be so far before Halloweenween ?.  Jordan has been talking about what to make for weeks now.  We might just need to have another gatherings closer to the big day.

We will be there again this year!  Oct 29-Nov 2 my Jordan is already working on ideas for what we should bring to the party.  She is very excited to have 2 working feet for trick or treating this year.  Any plans yet for day, time and place?

I tried, I think we hit just about every site last night but i don't know who Larry is or which site he was on. It sure was a blst though and boy this place cleared out quick today, even found a table at the pool.

It was so nice meeting everyone last night. Dave, Jordan and I had a great time and the food was delicious. Happy Halloween Fiends!☺

We are in site 1926 plan to bring chicken salad and cheese and crackers to the party tonight. My daughter is so very excited! What site is the party be on? Can't wait to meet everyone.

We are about to hit the road!!!!!!! We should arrive early this afternoon. Can't wait!

I guess i am late to the party, haven't logged into this site in quite some time. We are booked for this Halloween (Thursday - Monday) in full hookup site. This will be our first trip to the fort that I won't have to pack for since we are now living full time in our motorhome. Just need to hook up the trailer with the golf cart and go.

Are we too late to join the Grand Gathering?

Really looking forward to this trip, haven't been to a Halloween at the Fort in a few years.

My daughter and I had one of those fast pauses in the boat on splash mountain last year. They kept saying over the speakers to stay in the boat that we would be moving momenteraly, it was about 20 minutes later we started moving. Just glad it didn't break as we were heading down the big drop. Still can't get that song out of my head.

I have a tiny little coonskin hat she can borrow for her disguise. 

we have been debating using kool aid to color her feathers like my friends teen daughter did with her hair.  We will be selling the house and moving into the rv full time next year, she has become a part of the family and the idea of having to re-home her is making us look for ways we could keep her while living at state parks and campgrounds.

we are pretty laid back so as long as what you are smoking is legal we are fine with it.

Don't have much experience with horses but I do have a very sweet chicken that will follow me anywhere.

We have been unable to get a site for this Halloween so I was wondering if there is anyone planning to tent camp that would be willing to split their site with us for a couple of nights over Halloween?

We still have all of our tent gear so if you're flying in, we could lend you tent, chairs, air mattress so you wont need to rent or try to fit in your luggage.

I know this is a long shot but hey, anything to get to the fort for trick or treating.
