From WDW Magic... http://Plaza Ice Cream Parlor closing for a near three month refurbishment Dec 19, 2011 The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor at the Magic Kingdom is scheduled to be closing from 4th January to 27 March 2012 for refurbishment. The nearly three month timeframe would suggest an extensive amount of work, although currently no specific details are available. -

Don't get too excited... we're still in the car and I'm only on my phone so reading/posting is limited. Plus it'll probably take me a while to sort out the 2000 photos and organize 3 weeks worth of stuff! But as this will be my first official trip report EVAH (seriously!) I want to do it right.
